There has been much hype about the new J. J Abrams film, Cloverfield, especially around the thing that was attacking New York? What is it? Godzilla 2, The Parasite?? On the 16th February MySpace users were allowed to see it first before it was released in cinemas, and were also one of the first people in the world to cast their eyes on this monster¦. So we aren't going to spoil it here and tell you what it is but it's definitely out of this world and seriously scary!!!!

There were over 700 MySpace fans in Sydney and Melbourne who lined up for hours for their chance to see this film. Everyone got a Cloverfield t-shirt and some awesome MySpace merch and one lucky winner in each city received a Nokia mobile phone and a Camcorder all with exclusive Cloverfield footage loaded on to it, courtesy of Paramount Pictures. Thanks for all those that came down to the cinemas and waited patiently! we hope that you all enjoyed this rollercoaster ride of a film.

Thanks again to Paramount Pictures and Hoyts Entertainment Quarter and Hoyts Victoria Gardens. Stay tuned for the next MySpace Black Curtain

It was SUCH a bad movie. It didn't make much sense and it was just a big collage of all the other 'monster-attacks-city' movies. There was one cool bit though... where the girl started crying blood, then she exploded.

all in all, -3 stars
