I just watched the first episode of the new show "Heroes" which begins on the Sci-Fi Channel on the 10th Jan or BBC2 later in 2007.

How did you do that , Mirth ? - I hear you asking. But No, I didnt travel forward in time, just a bit of internet detective work.

I must say, that I really , really liked it. It has a huge amount of potential.   This first episode reminded me a lot of last years show "Surface" . ( I am still really sad that they cancelled Surface , It was brilliant. )

Without giving any plotlines away, the reason that Heroes reminds me of Surface is that in this episode there are about 10 separate storylines and nobody meets anybody else, but you can tell that their paths will cross as the weeks go on.

The only other thing I would like to add is that bits of it are quite violent, so depending on the UK time slot it gets then it may be cut to pieces by censors. Let's hope not, or else I'll be watching online copies.
