Here at Soca City's headquarters we're excited about Carnival!!!

There is so much in store for old skool masqueraders as well as newbies in the event of Carnival around the UK for 2008.

If you're a die-hard mas junkie you'll be aware that carnival season is only a month away from the pre regional street festivities. We will be bringing you coverage of the Caribbean Carnivals as well as the main European Carnivals such as Notting Hill, Huddersfield and Leeds.

Our Feature starts with Martin Jay and Funtyme as they gather the troops for Reading Carnival!

The Special Section in Dragons will be RELEASE D RIDDIM's theme called "Mask Of The Red Death".

The Costumes will cost £90 and includes food and drinks. The band launch for this will be at RDR's theme of "Back 2 Basics" on 24th April
