easy all,

tomorrow we're off to japan! :) tokyo's my 2nd home (probably after auckland and 2nd equal with london) and can't wait to get back there. we have four shows in japan - two for the politik and two launching the new album 'journey 2 the light'. joining me will be bembe, jason yarde on horns and richard spaven on drums. hopefully will be a chance to share some pics, video and stories on the blog as it happens :) after japan, it's straight to bangkok for two shows there which we'll also have vanessa freeman joining us on. looking forward to getting back to bangkok again too - hopefully they wont have a military coupe this time!!

and a lil something from the archives... managed to dig up a recording of my live set from the spring southport weekender last may... that was my first southport and we mashed up the b-bar proper :) joining me was bembe segue, tawiah, sharlene hector and richard spaven flipping some tide's arising classics and a few of our favorite covers... enjoy
