Yep -- I'm still contemplating the death of Sandy West @age 47. Drummer for the Runaways, sexy beast, and much more than that -- a woman who fueled my teenage fire and spirit. Joan & Sandy forged a dream that birthed a million more. I listen to "Cherry Bomb" and Cherie snarling out "Get down ladies ya got nothin' to lose" and I'm taken back to a place when I first heard them, and I realized that they were my future. I'm still a rebel and badass in my "black heart," and I have Joan and Sandy and the Runaways to thank for that. I was a "Teen Angel on the Road to Ruin" but I survived it to see Jett wink at me in June and to shed a tear for Sandy in October. Thanks ladies, we all got nothin' to lose! RIP Sexy Sandy West
