Hey guys! I'm in japan and at the moment I'm actually getting my hair and makeup done! I have a live tv performance today and last night we had our showcase in Harajuku and it went amaaaazing! One of my amazing fans gave me a bunch of gloomy bears... it was so sweet! The first day we were here we went to this town called Akihabara and it is a town where everyone dresses up in costumes...like halloween all year long!! It was awesome! We d a photoshoot for In Rock magazine there! So much fun! and then 2 days ago I tried traditional japanese flower arrangements and that was cool! wooo hooo God is goooood!!! Well I've got to go head out to the streets of tokyo now! thank you for all your prayers and support!! I love you all!

Yeeaahh, yeeaahh...you're in a unique culture, having widespread success, walking the streets of tokyo...that doesn't sound that fun. We'd much rather be chilling-I mean that quite literally-in the streets of our humble capitol known as Lincoln in the flat state of Nebraska, and listening to some old school Celine Dion(which, irnoically, is playing on the sound system in my house. lol)Please!! Japan!! WHO NEEDS THAT?!?

Seriously, we hope your having an amazing time in Japan. Don't forget to look at the culture in the light of Christ. See the beauty that our awesome God has created all over the world, and do His work. He has a work that He is doing there, through you. Do ya believe it? I know it! May God richly bless you in this experience! The US will be waiting whenever you return!

Blessings,
RS

Hi Krystal! I absolutely loved reading your blog about Japan. May God be with you, as He always is so faithful and ever present, as you uplift Him with your awesome God-given musical talents. May you be a true witness for Him and reach many unsaved souls in Japan. Our family is hoping to one day see you in concert. I have two teenage daughters, Kristin (18) and Kaitlyn (14 tomorrow), and they absolutely love your music! We will pray that you have a safe and blessed journey back home. Have a Jesus Filled Day!

In His Love,
Kim Salopek and Family

Kokohi! You are proof that Christ reaches all nations, not just America, Europe, and Africa. How do they say your name in Japan, though? I know that they do not pronounce or use the letter "L" in Japan, so I'm kind of curious. And what about Jesus's Name? I want to know, because I'm working on plans to go to Japan next summer, and I'd like to learn the language (I know the Japanese enjoy learning English, but I want to communicate with them in their culture, not mine). Keep up the Good Work, and God Bless.

Y'know Krystal, I just wanted to say that above all else, I'm impressed by the fact that you are so sweet & have such a heart for Christ's teachings of kindness & love. A lot of times people hear rock music or seem mainstream Christian rock & think that the kids/people doing it could never be like Christ. You're a great example of otherwise. God bless & keep you! Have a great time in Japan!

"akiburra"is "Akihabara". I think so. It's like Halloween all year long.....
Did you go to Shinjuku? The new store has opened in Shinjuku these days. It's the glasses store.
