What a great little festival! The level of organisation and professionalism was of the highest standard. We turned up and dropped our stuff off in a disused gallery space where we greeted by taped off boxed areas with each band's name stuck on the wall corresponding to each space. We found ours, in between Kid 606 & Bela Emerson, across from us was Kling-Klang and Wolf Eyes. What a nice little touch. Toward the back, they had provided a buffet, and drinks.

We played in the Kitchen and the sound men were extremely helpful and knew their shit. Mike the sound man was comfortable with handling out-of-the-ordinary set ups and did our sound great. They didn't skimp on bass, presumably because they had to cater for a lot of Doom (tm) that weekend.

And it was so much fun playing as well. I'd say about 300 people were watching us, it was absolutely packed, and there were loads of people outside as well. When we finished playing, it felt like we'd won over a lot of people. A really great crowd.

I should just say, that the sound onstage for us was pretty shit because one of our monitors blew out. BUT, during sound check, it sounded amazing and we had faith with Mike because he did a good job on our sound at one of our gigs on the tour. Obviously we couldn't hear what it actually sounded like from the audience point of view, but were told it sounded nice and loud.
