Yep!
It's out. So help us all.
For information on how to get a copy, please check our last blog 'How To Get A Copy Of Television's People.' A wonderful blog it is, telling you exactly that.

HOWEVER, if you're after vinyl, I'm afraid there's going to be a slight delay of a week or two. A few problems with the pressing plant i.e. they haven't made it yet! But it will be with you all very soon. So buy a record player while you're waiting.
I wanted, while I was here, to tell people how much suffering I put into each album! (Misty's Blog readership figures take a nosedive.) Did you know....
You have to listen to it a million times whilst you're making it. Literally. Doing important things like adjusting the level of the shaky water bottle. Does it need more bass? More treble? More flange perhaps? I generally veer away from flange as a rule. Next you have to get it mastered, where you spend a fraught day listening to it again and again making sure it sounds as good as possible and getting the all important length of the gaps between the songs right. "Just back a millisecond....that's it." And then finally you get sent a finished copy. A thousand thoughts rush through your mind as you put it into the CD player. What if you missed something? What could it have been you missed? Brain splits into thinking about every song, then every instrument, then every note.... until the digital display reads 14 tracks, 39 minutes. Ah, well it's got the right amount of songs on anyway. Where's the best place in the room to sit?
I've discovered a new problem with music that has slowly creeped up on me. I read somewhere recently that you only hear 30% of the sound coming out of your speakers. The other 70% (maths) is created by the room. So depending on what room you're in, where you're sat in the room AND how good your speakers are, will determine what it sounds like. Which means, all the times I've listened to the bloody thing were A WASTE OF TIME!
Well not really. But you see how I suffer? Anyway, the long and the short of it is the CD sounds good alright. All thanks to me and my suffering.
We've got a few gigs coming up. London on Thursday, Sheffield on Saturday and Lancaster on Monday. Hope you can make one. Check our gig list for venues and details.
If you have any problems getting hold of a copy, do let us know. Or any problems in general, let me know. I like a bit of gossip. Tit bits. It might put my own personal suffering into a much needed wider context.
Take care one and all,
Grandmaster Gareth
