Today, on 2nd April 2008 the sad news have been made public: Klaus Dinger died on 21 March 2008. Together with many friends of his music I will remember Klaus for his creativity as an artist and I will think about him with gratitude for his wonderful contributions to our project NEU!. (For more information please see Gronland Records).

I wish to thank all the friendly people who have been writing or posting bulletins in order to pay respect and to express their grief about the death of my NEU! partner Klaus Dinger on 21st March 2008.

It is good to know that his great contributions to music are acknowledged by so many. Unfortunately, I cannot answer all the messages sent to me personally but please believe me that every word you write is being read. Thank you!

Klaus, rest in peace!

...First hearings of Neu ! in 75, then, later, La Duesseldof, both landmark moments for me ...(among many then, too few now)...
..RIP Klaus
...perhaps you and Florian Fricke can come up with some celestial airs together !
