Despite misgivings about the accuracy of the 16 words embodied in this song (these words had been previously removed from a Bush speech given in Cincinnati, Ohio in October '02), the words appeared in Bush's State of the Union address '03. The words were among a litany used to gain the support of Congress and the American people for an invasion of Iraq. Fury over Joseph Wilson's July '03 NY Times article debunking the truth of the president's statement resulted in the "outing" of Wilson's wife by high government officials.  Label: Pure Mint Recordings www.pure-mint.com

Brilliant! I thought I'd nearly forgotten, but without having heard them, I knew exactly which 16 words you meant. Will people care when they've begun erasing people? Oh, that's right! Guantanamo, Abu Ghraib... places unknown...

What's the old saying?

first of all, did you do this animation and the sound?

to whoever did, i am overwhelmed and officially your devoted admirer. absolutely brilliant political satire but even more the artistry knocks me on my behind. in fact i'm having a hard time writing this on the floor having been knocked out of my chair!
