	Jess	Oh, I love this posse! There's a great deal of irony I get from think whole stinking mess. I read, whilst the WGA was on strike, that they were urging, nay begging, British writers not to go to the States and take over the writing of the big hit shows over there, just in case, and God forbid, that they turn out 'too British'. A) What? and B) I beg your pardon?. Maybe it's one of those things where they take a great British institute, make it really rubbish and say they did it first in three hundred years. However, they write some good stuff over there. One of my favourite American icons was that Robin Hood guy, who came and saved the country from the evil, excessively-English Sheriff up in the Midlands (via Hadrian's Wall - also American...probably.)
