Yesterday I saw a film that does not get released until next summer.

I can't say much more than that, except that it delivers all the goods sorely lacking from a certain trio of prequels.

Exciting stuff.

That is all.

E

p.s. I did also meet Henry Winkler in the parking lot. These two events were unrelated. Other than it being further evidence of me being a lucky bastard.

p.p.s. Thanks to CINEMATICAL (and Joel who sent me this link) for naming SHAUN OF THE DEAD as their funniest horror movie. The competition was very stiff too, especially the films ranking second and third.

Cinematical-Seven-Funniest-Horror-Movies

What no American Werewolf In London? I expect a response from Paul Davis in under two seconds.

Henry Winkler?? That is pretty damn awesome. I had a total crush on The Fonz when I was a kid...and he was very entertaining on Arrested Development (...as is everyone, though! Still such an amazing show).

My eight year old self used to love American Werewolf in London. A part of me still does, I do not know who I am trying to fool...

I just received my daily Edgar Wright google alert and the first listed article said "Edgar Wright Has Seen Star Trek?!?!" Your blog has far reaching effects.

Yeah, and I saw a similar headline on /Film. And didn't get an blog alert.

Hey, Edgar, run back and tell Barry Zuckercorn that MySpazz alerts are busted again, we need him to jam his elbow into it like he used to do with Arnold's jukebox. Thanks, man.

If you saw what I think you saw, I'm even more excited that it has your stamp of approval. Time will tell on that one, I suppose.

Also, Henry Winkler is awesome. He went to my college, and I'm convinced that I will meet him before I graduate. (And congrats on Funniest Horror Movie!)

Pardon my lateness... my Spidey-senses had no network coverage.
Tis bizarre to say the least that AWIL wasn't included, however, a well earned win for Shaun.

Also very disappointed not to see Exorcist II on there. That was supposed to be funny... right?

Well, it can't be 'The Watchmen', since that comes out in March. Hmmm, I can only fathom what you saw. Is it 'Star Trek', 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine', 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen', 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince', 'Terminator: Salvation'? Arrgh!

Henry Winkler is in Milton Keynes panto this year, which has to be one of the oddest things ever to happen. He's starring alongside "Beff" from The Bill. I can't quite imagine it, but I shall definitely be going.

Who knows if it was Star Trek or one of the other awesome movies coming out next year but no one can deny two things. 1. You are a lucky bastard (lol) and 2. You are most definitly a tease! You couldn't keep that kernel of bloody luck to yourself...you must make us all jealous eh?? Of course I am just blindingly jealous so take nothing to heart dear Edgar! We still love you...just maybe not so many Kudos in this blog. You got to meet Henry Winkler?? You are a lucky bastard, lol! The Fonz man...that gives you more cool points just by association. Good on you for SOTD being #1 There is no denying the fantasticness (is that a word??) of that movie and it is good to see that others appreciate it as well.

I've sold every single copy of Shaun of the Dead that comes into our store within minutes of it going out on the floor. It's part of our Buy1 get 1 half off deal. They just can't keep it in stock. I have to say, anyone who talks about SotD says positive good things.

I suppose American Werewolf in London would be a good one to buy with the BOGO1/2. I will remember to recommend that one.

What I'm really excited about is the fact that I got The Shining for $13!!!! Limited sale. Love that movie.

Okay...guys...head to Sam Goody or f.y.e. for the Halloween movie sales. They're pretty badass.
