You probably saw the new Green Day + NRDC video on the front page of our profile, but I'll post it here, too, just in case you somehow missed it.

Want to put this video on your profile?  Copy the code below:

My favorite quote: "People think sometimes it has to be a really big step or a big effort. It's really not that complicated."

I've never met Adrienne, but she seems like an amazing person.  I'm so glad she took the time to make this video, and that so many of you sent in your photos.  Seeing all those faces flash by on my screen reminds me how many people out there care about this stuff.  Thank you so much for being a part of it.

If you've got a minute, leave a comment and tell us what you like best (or even least) about the video.  I want to hear some feedback.

-Lisa

p.s. If you submitted a photo and you didn't get picked, please don't feel bad.  I'm not in the video either!

Favorite quote: "It is not just about preaching, it's about showing, it's about action"
I like the video. It's great that some Green Day's fans are in it
Adrienne's message is very clear. She seems to be humble and spontaneous.
I really appreciate that Green Day and all famous people use their "fame" or "their power to influence", in a positive way.
Greetings for you all from Quito-Ecuador (South America).
Remember: We are part of the solution! Take action!

You guys ROCK!!! As I live in Lake Almanor,CA which is an area where our very own wildlife are threatened by new developments and constant new people who are ignorant of the environment that they live in, I am becoming more aware that people like you and like all of your fan base CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! We have been having bad problems with bear poachers, eagle poachers and deer poachers up here and with all of the state and federal cutbacks on budgets, we don't have the man power it takes to help stomp out these creeps.... It is up to us as individuals to step up and make the difference. If you aren't able to donate money to these types of causes, then go to your nearest place and VOLUNTEER your time, your abilities or whatever you can do to help.... The California Black Bears are abundant in this area and are now being shot because they bother campers. They are killing the Mountain Lions because they are foraging for food in what used to be their neck of the woods, but is now all new homes and developments. They are building a 4-Season Resort on Dyer Mtn. and are planning on bringing in an estimated 17,000 more people into our small communities. you may visit their website: http://www.dyermtn.com Where they plan to build this resort is in God's Country and many wildlife habitats and Birds' habitats will be clear cut and the ones they leave behind, will eventually be abandoned by the existing wildlife due to the amount of people & pollution. The developers promise that they want to be "Ecologically and Environmentally Conscious". WTF!!  They are threatening our water tables for our sources of drinking water, but promise that the pesticides used on the grass will be environmentally safe... They plan to break ground in the Summer of 2007... We hope to God they don't destroy the one place that was pretty much left untouched for years by developers. Some are for the resort because they hope it will help the economy, others want to keep it for the last of God's creatures...
It is people like Green Day and NRDC that are stepping up to save these creatures and help stop Global Warming... We are already experiencing Global Warming here as where we live, it snows, but as the trees are cut, it begins to warm up not only the air, but the lakes, rivers and streams, which affects the fish and birds......

Do take a stand!! Green Day, U2, Elton John and many others are at least using their names of fame and fortune for great things!! Help them MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

KEEP ON ROCKIN IN THE FREE WORLD GUYS!!!
HUGE HUGS!!
DEE

Addrienne did a great job! Is Green Day really the band that actually gives a crap about our environment? As in the place we live in and call home? I don't see any other bands taking a stand in this. I know not just the bands have to be in this, but we ALL need to be in this. I was just saying becuase I didn't see any other bands actually showing that they give a crap. Green Day is really showing it! God bless you, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool! God bless all three of you!!!

I love it <33
It's a great idea to put in the fans...
Well of course not everyone can be in it because there are so many!
I always take out the chargers and stuff when nothings charging and turn off the lights, radio, and tv.
A big whoop to environmentalists!

I think it should have just been centered around what she thinks and not have all the Green Day pictures mixed in.I would have liked it better if just Adrienne and the many people who care about the Earth. Its what's important about the video.

With my love for the world

I  saw the video a little while ago and loved it. I don't think I have a favourite or non-favourite bit but I think it's awesome that Adrienne was the one who introduced Green Day to NRDC

The video is great and for me it has captured the true feeling that 'ordinary' people can make a huge difference just by doing the smallest things.

Adrienne does seem like an 'amazing person', and I think she makes us realise that we have a 'voice' in our world and can do something to be heard if we all act together -  as she says 'in five minutes I can make a difference'.

Excellent choice of song as well!

I love seeing all the young faces. The youth of today need to know that they, along with everyone else, have the power to make change happen.

Knowledge is powerful. Keep up the great work!

this was just a brilliant video. I loved that Adrienne was in it, that made it even better. She's my hero.

And I also loved the end, the video being dedicated to us. It was all in all a great video and great imagery.

I can only hope more people will get involved with the NRDC.

i really love this video and how it is set up. having the supporters and fans actually in the video will boost the overall outcome. when people who love something can actually take a part of it and be noticed, they'll work even harder to get it out there. this is going to make an impact.

I realy like this video. Its great that Adrienne has made time to talk about NRDC and make a video about what people can do and how we can help. Im glad well-known celebrities use there influance on people to make a differance. The pictures of the fans make it more personal. Its realy good.

Well done Adrienne!
