As we find ourselves already knee deep in 2008, with 2007 just a warm hazy memory, we are very much looking forward to the first Lovebox party of the year.
This Saturday 9th February sees the return of
Bang The Box; Lovebox and Groove Armada's residency at The End.
Occurring bi-monthly - every one of these parties will see either Tom, Andy, or both, behind the decks, either playing together in the main room, or going head to head with Andy driving it upbeat in the main room while Tom takes the alternative vibe in the Lounge.
Every party will also see heavy weight guests and the launch will be no exception; in the main room Hector Romero (DEF MIX 2008) will be joining Tom Finday this Saturday whilst Manchester's masters of eclectism the Unabombers will be jumping from genre to genre in The Lounge with help from Severino, resident at Vauxhall's most notorious '21st century tea dance' Horse Meat Disco.
Alongside Groove Armada and their regular guests, Bang the Box has a healthy stable of excellent residents; Digs from the pioneering DiY sound-system, Rachel Barton from Radio 1 and ever versatile Lovebox Allstars who will all be pushing things along, starting this Saturday.
Advance tickets sold out immediately but there will be plenty on the door so get down there early and don't miss the first instalment of this fantastic new bi-monthly residency!
