Hello all!

Last Friday saw me get back into the swing of things (albeit temporarily) at Goucher Student when I hosted "The Myers Experience" Reunion Show. As in the past, Isaac Shapiro joined me as my co-host and Abby Leib, a Goucher freshman who serves as the sole member of Goucher Radio's paid staff, stuck around during the whole four hours offering her technical supprt in case there was any technical trouble in the studio. Aside from a few technical mishaps involving the CD players in the studio, things went pretty smoothly and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

After our introduction, where I played the tape of my DC Improv performance, Alex Strama helped the show get off the ground by being friendly and open about sharing some personal gems from his independent label, MT6 Records. Alex treated us to the following songs:

1. "White Walls" newagehillbilly

2. "Tomb of Science" Human Host

3. "Robots Bring the Dance" Down with Gender

4. "Johnny" Asteroid Fields

5. "Cimmerian Darkness" Mother Orchid

Following Alex's interview,  we featured the (pre-produced) Scott Vitek Tribute. Originally scheduled to perform for us in the studio, Scott died last February. In his place, various clips of Scott from his appearances on "The Myers Experience" last year were compiled and played during the time when Scott would have performed. Among the clips played were talking about current events followed by phone calls from Sharon at 7-11 and the infamous "Doc" aka "GrandwhiteyKKK" in addition to his musical performances with Tim Brinegar and Randolph Sparr.

Scott Vitek will be missed.

Our final interview of the evening was with Laura Bennett, aka "Lightening" on MySpace, who shared her knowledge of sexual techniques as well as her views on sexualized cults and pornography among other topics. "The Myers Experience" also thanks Laura for being so helpful to Isaac's friend Boman about his past sexual experiences involving hanging out with lesbians.

Isaac served his prior co-host role very well on Friday. Abby Leib's presence as the technical support staff was also greatly appreciated and she has even offered to work the sound board for us during any future editions of "The Myers Experience" on Goucher Radio.

Special thanks goes to Scott Ferguson who hung out with us in the studio during a portion of the news, Isaac's friend Matt from Plattsburgh, NY, and Mike Jones, our loyal listener.
