Hey guys! Enough of you have expressed an interest in this fitcamp idea that I'm going to get the ball rolling on it today. A lot of BL alum have also stepped forward as well to be "guest trainers", speakers, etc. After brainstorming quite a bit last night, I wanted to come up with some facts, figures, scheduling ideas, etc. so you guys understood what you'd be getting at this thing. I know throwing out a number like $4,000-$6,000 seems like a lot of money- it does for me too, believe me, but I think once you see the breakdown, you'll understand where it's going to. For those of you that think I'm doing it only to make money, definitttely not. I would actually make more if I took on 14 clients for two weeks at my regular rate- MUCH more. But I feel it's important to deliver this experience, especially with so many people who are desperate to have a scenario similar to the one we had on the show- this would definitely be it.
Ok, so basically I figured out I would do two 2-week long sessions, and you could sign up for one of them, or both at a discounted rate. You would have 24/7 access to a state-of-the-art workout facility. It's one of the most beautiful gyms in the Nashville area- actually, one of the best I've ever seen. I'll tell you more about it when it's confirmed as our facility. You would have the option of having a single, double, triple or quad room at a hotel equipped with a kitchenette for everyone to have access to healthy meals. Basically, the more people you can find to bunk in your room with you, the more money you save- so if you're in a quad, it's going to be much more affordable than being in a single, but I do understand privacy and some people would be more than willing to pay more for it. Every day you would work out 3-5 hours- with me, in classes, and with guest trainers- some from BL, some from the area. Basically, you would be getting your butt kick. ALL food would be provided from a yet-to-be-announced sponsor, and would obviously be SUPER healthy, so it would take all of the guess work out of it for you. You would be split into two groups to give you the most attention possible and the schedule would look something like this:
9:00- Group A heads to the gym 9:30-10:30- 1/2 of group A does 1 hour cardio, while other half trains with Isabeau 10:30- Group A switches- Group B comes to gym, does 1 hour of cardio 11:30- Group A goes back to hotel for lunch/relaxation 11:30- Group B splits- half do light hour cardio, half train with Isabeau 12:30- Group B switches 1:30- Group B goes home for lunch/relaxation 3:00- Group A arrives- does one hour of cardio 4:00- Group B joins Group A for one hour cardio class 5:00- Back to hotel for dinner 7:00- Social (see below)
The "Social" aspect of it would vary night by night. One night might just be a movie night in the hotel, or at the theaters. Either way it would be all inclusive. Another night, it might be having a BL contestant come to talk to you about weight loss. There will be lots of round-table discussions about the emotional side of weight loss as well. There will be two full days off, where we'll try to do some typical "Nashville" things- listen to music, go to a museum, and hang out at the pool.
Also, I'll be approaching local sponsors to offer prizes for the achievements you all have. A few other ideas in the works: Makeovers, talent show, etc.
I really want as many people as possible to be able to take such a wonderful opportunity as possible. There are not many times in your adult life you can tell people you're putting them on hold to take care of you.
Because I want as many people as possible to be able to afford this opportunity, I've really crunched as many numbers as possible, and it's looking like the cost would be the following for each two week session: SINGLE ROOM: $5,000 DOUBLE ROOM: $4,200 TRIPLE ROOM: $3,800 QUAD ROOM: $3,500 So it's a little lower (Thank God) than what I expected it to be originally- I know it's still not "cheap" by any means but the price breakdown goes like this: *Facility Fee to use the gym (trust me when I say it's AMAZING) *Training Fee *Guest Trainer/Speaker Fee *Food Estimate *Hotel Room *Gas to bring you guys back and forth to the hotel/gym ***Also, if you decide to be in a double, triple, quad room the only way to guarantee that rate is to sign up 1, 2 or 3 of your friends to room with you- otherwise you can request it, and we'll try to accomodate it by putting you with other attendees, but there are no guarantees.
Hopefully this encourages more of you to think about this idea. As I said, I've already had quite a bit of interest and I think session 1 will fill up quickly, and most likely session 2 will as well. I'm sure there would also be quite a bit of media coverage and it would definitely be an unforgettable experience.
I love the emails, messages, etc about your ideas on everything, so keep 'em coming. Also- how does everyone feel about the middle of July and the last two weeks in August?
xoxoxo
