I need some help to find out about a gift my son was given for Christmas.  He was given Roscoe the Robotic Frog.  It is made by Manley Toy Quest.  It works and looks like my son will love it on Christmas morning.  My problem is that I am unable to find any information about this toy online, not even on the Toy Quest web site.

Has any one seen this toy before?  Does any one know anything about it.  It seems to be just as interactive as their puppies, dogs and cats.  It seems to be a very cool gift.  I am just worried that I cannot find any thing about this toy any place.  There is not even a commercial for it.  None of the stores seem to carry it so I don't even know where it came from. 

 

My son loves frogs and robots so this is going to be a great gift.  The box said that Roscoe the Robotic Frog is programmed to play with Tekno the robotic puppy, Kitty the Tekno kitten polly the Tekno parrot as well as other Tekno 2.0 robots such as Boomer the robotic puppy and Flash the robotic turtle.  It will respond to my son just like the puppy, and even talks, hops and expects to be played with and fed.  It is also for 3+ so I am not worried that it is to old of a gift for him.  I would just like to find some information on this.  It is just very odd that there does not seem to be anything on the Internet about it.

 

HELP ME FIND SOME INFO.

My step son (hes 5) brought one of those home from his x-mas party at school......

There is something very very odd about that toy tho because i've looked on toyquest, ebay, toys r us, walmart, target, teknopet.com and that toy is no were to be found. Theres not even no images of that toy in the yahoo search engine

I think my wife said that theres a comment/Question on the box so see if there is and try calling that...until we find out something more on that we will not allow our son too play with it

Thank you very much. I only wish I could figure out how to get the Chinies site to translate, I loose every thing. I found the picture and yes $400.00 US would be high, but $400 in Chinies currency is about $55.00 US.

Can I just say that is the most awesome thing in the world. I want one and I'm 30 yrs-old! The fact that you can't find anything on it is even more awesome. Was it left here by aliens to watch us? Is it a government conspiracy? Or is it a sign of the coming robot apocalypse? I'm getting one whatever it is.

I was just searching this frog as my daughter has one and now that she is older she wants to sell it on Ebay. I guess we can list it as out of production and rare and will make millions of dollars on it. She also has 2 Tekno dogs and the Tekno Parrot in the cage that she wants to sell. Anyone interested?
