Hi,
i decided to put online for free the "unreleased" LSG album.
It created this in late 2002 for beeing released in late 2003.
Then the distribution went down and the situation was unpredictable, so the decision was to start with the new distributor releasing a "best of LSG" album and see how things go...but this is a different story...
As i said this was done late in 2002 - so not in any way representing what i am doing right now.
This is more a tribute and a big thank you to the fans of the LSG project and - at least for me now - a way to close the door to this project
and focus even more on what i am doing now.
Some people might say that the old stuff i have done was better than what i do right now. But please think about how things developed...
When i started the LSG project trance as a name for a style wasnt established and right now to me the word trance does have a really bad meaning and only stands for a certain commercial and non-developing style that i am glad finally managed to get less attention.
I tried to stay ahead of times but in the big times of this project it was hard to always keep that in mind.
So i can only ask to always keep your ears up for new styles and artists and dont block something new by just thinking that the best
happend in the past already. I personally think that at the moment the greatest thing about the music scene is that a lot is possible again
like in the early days. The "we are cool - this is crap" way of thinking is not as big as it was some 5 to 8 years ago and all kind of different styles
and influences can work on one label or even in one track again...so like back then its just about good music.

Enough talking...just one more thing please:
Pleas dont stream the file...download it by right-clicking on the file name  ;)
Also...please DONT spread the file or give a direct link to anybody.
Since people did that already i am constantly changing the weblink every few days now...but i leave it online for the people that go through here since the guys in the forum shouldnt actually been taken as that important....
If you want to spread the album - go ahead...but give the myspace - blog link so the people see what i do now.
If there is too many direct download or i find this album on any download portal i will close the link and wont do anything like this in the future anymore...

Thanks a lot for reading this and for your support

Folks do i ask for too much?

i give this for free and people put it online in several forums. support this effort by ONLY using MY link - no other ones ...also please actually read the text above or on the link site.

And please dont use the comments here as an advertising space!
If you post something in massive big letters i might delete it.
There is no name, no tracknames..whatever..
click here to get to the download page

All the best

Danke, Oliver. Many people miss the productive genius you bring with aliases such as LSG, Paragliders, Spicelab etc, so this is a lovely surprise.

wicked man.

thanks a lot.  loved what you said about trying to get unassociated with trance.  i always considered lieb productions to be a classy side of trance.  and it still doesnt sound dated.  ie. your universal nation rmx.  - this was the best version after the original.

all the best

Oliver, Many many thanks for this!! I have been patiently waiting for this album to get a release on Superstition for a few years and was very sad it was not released.

But, the link isn't working now..? Oh no!! Please put the file back!!

Into the Deep and LSG The Best Of The Singles Reworked are my two must favourite CD's.  Respect.

Cheers, Steve

I've just read your update (above) and realise now why the link is gone.  What is up with these people? Small minority ruining it for the rest, as usual.

I remember asking you about this in an interview I did when you last toured Australia- happy to find that it's finally seeing the light of day. Thank you for your generosity in sharing it, and I'm sure you'll continue to score perfect soundtracks to profound & happy moments in many people's lives, like you have with LSG & your other projects over the past 15 years.

BIG thank you for this, how refreshing to see someone doing it for the love of music alone, still I believe in karma so I hope this act of generosity will bring you reward too
meanwhile you've shared another 70 mins of great euphoric after-club tunes with your fans (and by the way I'm still playing Fragile and Netherworld out whenever I get chance, two of my all time favourite tunes!!)

Hi,

Thanks for this missing piece, always nice.
However, what a pity to hear that the LSG project was stopped..
'Into deep' was a very important turning point in my music, and is always seen
as one of my all time favourite albums.
To simply compare it with 'trance' is a bit to easy. the first 2, OK, but 'Into Deep'
and the Ambient reworks were so much more. They were stories. I can't even count
the times I put them into my CDplayer, even today. most of the albums and DJsets coming
out, just pass in my car CDplayer a couple of times, and then they're finished.
Only few albums really live for decades. For me, LSG created those as did FSOL.

Off course I respect your decision, and I also like the suff you do today.
But to create a whole story as did LSG... Don't know.

It was always my dream to work with you on an LSG track, really:-)

anyway, much respect for one of the greatest producers off the last 2 decades!!!

regards
Kevin
