Welcome back. I bring to you yet another exciting edition of Useless RANT! This one is a bit more serious then the others.....
Issue #3: Why Star Wars geeks are better then you.
Everytime a new Star Wars movie is released, fans everywhere get excited and start wearing their costumes and donning their lightsabers or blasters. It is also a time where we hear constant bashing towards us being called everything from "freaks" to "geeks". I have always accepted it because people would never understand why we fans are the way we are. But when you think about it, the average person is far more freaky then a Star Wars geek.
We get mocked at for wearing costumes and knowing everything and aything Star Wars. Don't other people know everythig about their favorite band/singer/actor? Don't they try and dress like them or copy their fashon style? Some even go to the extreme and get plastic surgery to look like them. I find that far worse then dressing up as a storm trooper. And yet I don't hear people calling them freaks or geeks.
Alot of movies today are inspired by Star Wars. Most movies today wouldn't or couldn't be made without Star Wars. There's even a fanfilm community with some films better then most trash today.

The Movie Spoof 2: The Sequel - the sequel
Troops - like COPS, but with storm troppers.
I.M.P.S - sequel to Troops.
Once Upon A Jedi - a movie about a star wars geek at school.
Revelations - Looks like a real movie, but the story isnt that good.
All of these movies were inspired by Star Wars.
And what about myspace people? Don't some of you come here everyday and "talk" with your friends? Some people even add people they don't know just to have a high number of friends. Isn't that a little geeky too? I guess not because your a "normal" person wHo TyPeS lYkE dIs and watch "honey" and "you got served"

Moral of the story is: Don't be a f***ing hypocrite. And Star Wars kicks ass.
