Eve6ers,
We have to say first and foremost a sincere and genuine and heartfelt: THANK YOU! To every single molecule of you who came out to our shows in 2008, met us, took pictures with us, listened to our music, visited our Myspace page, wrote us messages, spread the word about Eve 6, any or all of the above!! We ended up flying on airplanes more this year than any other to come play for you, and it was totally worth it. We had no idea when we did our return show 11 months ago that this would turn out so great. And it truly is only the beginning.
The next few months for us are all about writing and recording. This is the work that a band does; the touring is like a vacation. We are cooling down the live shows so we can get in there and put the next Eve 6 album together. We have lots of questions to answer and things to work through, so we aren't sure exactly how or when it will appear. I will say that we plan to have new music available for all to hear some time in 2009. This is our primary focus right now and we will eat, breathe, sweat, bleed, this thing until we feel it's good enough for you all to listen to.
In the meantime we'll try to keep things interesting on here with blogs, pics, some more video stuff, and other cool beans like an online merch store. And of course we will be doing a couple shows every month to stay limber, so come see us if we end up near you.
