Congratulations to EATING OUT star Jim Verraros. Over at gay.com and planetout.com, he’s the front page story. The sites have a new feature called "The Full Package" where they profile a different entertainment figure with each installment. The first person they featured was Anderson Cooper. Jim is the second!

I confess, I did not thoroughly explore Anderson’s package. Though I’ve heard enough about it from pervs who go to Gold’s Gym.

Jim’s package is a fun inteview that covers everything from being gay during the American Idol tour to his mother’s reaction to watching his role in the racy EATING OUT movie. Read it here.

Words do make a difference.

I whole-heartedly agree with Media Dis&Dat’s take on the difference between the phrases "confined to a wheelchair" and "uses a wheelchair" and thank them for pointing out our usage on the rickandsteve.com site. We’ve changed it happily and learned something that seems so obvious in hindsight.

Good for Jim!
After reading his interview, I agree that it's best to be yourself and have people around you who like you for who you are, the good and the not so good.

Being cute also help ;)

Again I was expecting something entirely different when I read the title of this blog. Why must you tease me Allan? I'm becoming a real fan of Jim V. I really enjoyed the article. I like that fact that his is proud of who he is and is comfortable in his own skin. That is so important no matter what your sexuality. My grandmother had a stroke an has to use a wheelchair. I would hate it if I was told that she was "confined to a wheelchair". Makes it seem like there is no hope. Right now that is all we have for her. I know it seems trivial but it makes a difference. I'm glad to see you were sensative to their feelings Allan. Most people would have ignored it. Great blog. As always thanks for sharing.

Wow, I really liked that interview. My hope is that more people would learn the value of fully accepting who they are and not caring what anyone else thinks...but, there is still a long way to go.
