Second Life also allows us to have virtual conferences complete with multimedia presentations and audio and video along with voice chat. Attendees will no longer have to purchase a plane ticket and hotel room and travel hundreds or even thousands of miles, all they will need is a computer and high speed internet connection."
You can join Project PCOS at 7pm PDT on 9/23/07 as they "open the doors" to their organization, learning and support for women and girls with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) on SL with champagne, music, bars, food, a VIP ONLY BAR, servers, red carpet entrance and some great giveaways and ambience to raise awareness for the organization and cause.
