If theres anyone that can take america from a state back to being the 'United States' is Obama.

Congratulations to america for making the RIGHT desicion!!!!! The energy that he created around this election brought people out to vote that would usually have just stayed in, young, old, black, white..... ..... You didnt have to be intersted in politics to have been excited about this election! I stayed up till 5am watching it, untill my eyes were too heavy to keep open!

I had a really great gig the other night! I was supporting a reggae/funk band from new zealand  called 'the black seeds' The kiwis came out in full form and made it a sold out show at the astoria which is always good ;)

I first heard about the black seeds about 4months ago...As you may or may not know im OBSESSED with 'flight of the conchords' and inparticular...'bret mcKenzie' A friends alerted me to the fact that he used to be in a reggae band afew years ago in new zealand and whn i checked them out it was the black seeds, so there you go!

It makes it easier, soo much easier when the crowds nice, it makes me feel like i can be totally open on stage and confident and relaxed and drop the odd joke or too,(although generally they go down like lead ballooons) or laugh about the fact that i tripped up over the mic wire!

But all in all it was a terrific gig so i was very happy and was buzzing when i came off!

The black seeds were awesome, and played a great great set, really moody reggae/dub, i liked it alot.

They were also nice guys, i had a chat withthem before i went on stage, one of the guys,ryan, had bought a  'stylophone' from a toyshop in bristol, which i can only describe as being absolutely genius and no one should be wthout, i immediately ebayed its ass when i got back, and im waiting eagerly for the safe depositry of mine!

woo cant wait!

Did anyone go to lewes yesterday for bonfire night.... EPIC!
