The Darjeeling Limited -Wellington, New Zealand Tuesday 18th December People started to queue two hours before the doors of Wellington's favourite indie cinema the Paramount opened to ensure that they got to see this special and FREE advanced MySpace screening of Wes Anderson's new film. Upholding some of Anderson's classic themes such as parental abandonment, death and sibling rivalry, The Darjeeling Limited is a tale of three brothers who travel India on a spiritual quest, rekindling their relationship. Often veering off course emotionally and physically on lost trains or over the counter pain killers, the three estranged brothers (Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman) find the journey to have some unexpected outcomes. Set on a train against the landscape of Rajasthan the film is a visual journey for the audience, conjuring up dreams of traveling this colourful and exotic landscape.
