i think/hope we foundteh PERFECT plaCE, its a w village 4 floor house 2 floors are being rented by the owners, itllcost ...alot...to returjn it to a house biut fbc doesnt need to have all that space til she moves here at 18 and its a great invesment. thats exciting.
i do want to comment on these shared two year old files- tehse are DEMOS, the record the arrangements, the SONGS are all different- on the 4 shows there were 5 somngs we did not do, we did sunset ,maruis one particular way, and PCH needs a diff arrangem,ent qwich can be edited in by moving a few things around- the thing you guys are sharing is a DEMO and to my ears anyway has been gridded- the last thiung youd ewant to do to an artist like me - but when making a demop for me to take home to work on lyrics and arrangements something a tech does......cos its easy...GRIDDING meaNs....this.... imagine a musical hurricane, totally authentic, totally real with vibe, totally dripping with vibe, and imagine now a wine bottle, all of that groove and vibe goes intoa narrow bottle neck and comes into the other side with all the flaws and mistakes "gridded" ( GOOD flaws and GOOD mistakes) so the lifelessness of these files some ass is calling some new record file is so so so full of shit, i beklieve that was done for the stems for may of this year based on a 2.8 year old demo. its about as far ferom this record as you can get. the4 tech at LP{S for teh sake of time gridded the drums so theys ound almost robotic wich the drummer is anything but- i wouldnt do a record with gridded drums- i mean i have =become a fan of the click because it can save a reallys pecial vocal and i used to in the 90s be anti click- "oooh if you cant get a vive of your own you suck" thats just sonic youth ant song bullshit- that i was spoonfded on, i spent xmas eve w my kid and then later w my dearest ny friend Julie P and of all poeple Kraig Johnson from Minnesota froma band called "run weesty run" all brothewrs we had some shit to discuss from way back on 87 and 88, it was a good thing to discuss that old minneapolis stuff i have to dye a nucnh of teens and 20 s clotyhes itll take all day. ooooooh i love paNTone i got FOUR POIRET dresses and TWO vionettes honey for a dime.
