To my fans, thank you all for supporting my music and what we do out on the road. Hopefully you all had a great fourth of July holiday. We had a blast in Kentucky. The mayor of the town asked if there was anything we would like after we arrived and as I was about to say no we're fine, I looked out and saw Lake Reba surrounding the property and said, "well if you could find a boat and some fishing poles, we wouldn't complain!" Now, I was seriously joking when I suggested this, and half an hour later, we got a knock on the bus from the mayor to let us know the boat was ready so "a few of the boys from the band and me" went fishing!!! We didn't get many bites but hey, we were on the lake!
After that we went to the hotel to get ready and right beside the hotel was a bowling alley so, we managed to squeeze in a few frames before getting showered and heading back to the venue. All I'm going to say about this is one of the guys in the band has a very unique way of bowling and I'm trying to figure out a way to upload a video to the web-site so all of you can see it!
....and for all who posted well wishes for the tumbles I took in Kentucky, thanks and I'm fine. I slipped before I jumped onto the drum riser, that was the first one, and then when I took that jump off the stage, that was already 5 or so feet in the air, I jumped a little higher than I thought. I got some good air though! While I was up there I looked out into the crowd and was blinded by the spotlight so when I looked down, I couldn't judge how far I was from the ground. All those factors, plus the grass was wet led to those spectacular falls Wednesday night. So to wrap up, nothing hurt but my pride! When I laid in the grass for a while after the fall I was just thinking yep my name is Jason Michael Carroll and I just fell on my butt in front of thousands of people! That's why I got up smiling! No broken bones, and trust me, I have broken several for the sake of the show,...I was surprised as well as grateful for that! Thanks for checking up on me and my not so graceful self! Hope to see you out there! Be sure to check my web-site for more updates at www.jasonmichaelcarroll.com.....and yes I do post these on both my web-site and myspace page myself. :-)

Thanks and God bless,
Jason Michael

C

On a fall...feet and knees together, knees slightly bent...land in the order of: balls of the feet, calf muscle, thigh muscle, buttocks, shoulders in a flowing, rolling motion...so says my old jumpmaster...lol. It's worked for me many, many times

Jason...I remember very well a couple of the trips you had to make to the Orthopedic Clinic for a broken bone or fracture & then there was the PT that followed. Like I told some of your other fans, knowing you, pain or no pain the show would go on! You're a real trooper Jason. I'm just thankful the only injury you had this time was your pride.

Love Ya!
Jean

Glad to hear you're alright Jason! Love the fact that you're keeping it 'real' on here too, nothing better than hearing straight from the source itself! Take care and for heaven's sake, be careful!

I'm glad I didn't see that fall - I would have had a heartattack. If the stage was 5 feet from the ground, and you caught good air, dang, that means you came down hard about 7 feet. "That BIG ole "S" ain't on your chest", so take it easy on yourself. We want to see you happy, healthy and all in one piece when you come home to Carolina. We love you and miss you. Nancy

Jason, its people like you in the singing business that makes it all worth while to want to come see you even more and stand behind you no matter what. I've seen several singers in person in my time and I tell ya they were nothing like some of these other singers that I've heard about from my friends. Down to earth and so carefree, not afraid to want to interact with their fans. Nowadays there are some out here that feel their too good or they dont have time to fool with taking pictures and signing autographs for their fans. That is sad to find out when ya really like the person then when ya finally meet them in person, they are totally different from what you'd ever expect. I have to say I am grateful there are still some people left out there that are like you. We sure need more of you to spread around(lol)!! Take care and sorry missed ya in Kentucky. Is where I live but couldn't get to ya to come see ya perform but someday maybe will get to. Till next time, take care, GOD BLESS YA, and have a great week!

Jason,
I do love it when you're all over the stage, jumping here & then, but certainly NOT at your expense! I'd rather see you singing, standing still, than getting hurt. Please be careful, you are irreplaceable! Tewi Tso

Jason Michael,

I have to tell you sorry to hear about your fall , glad that nothing was broken.. I thnk it is wonderful that you and your band had time to fish in Kentucky. That is the best way to spend a day nothing likf fishing. I havew done it all my life. I like your motto how you have borken bones before for your shows. I have taken a borken bone or two for my team. Keep up the good work and be safe out on the road. You are totally awesome.
