Alright so U2. I've had a rather long dislike of U2, mainly because of my friend who's a massive fan and I just disagreed with him for the sake of it (hey James!). I bought this ticket with great hesitance.

I made the right choice to go. It was a genuinely good gig. Not the best I have seen this year, but really good in it's own right. The crowd was generally placid and friendly, with few exceptions, and their gig inexperience didn't really show through too much. The sound quality on the night wasn't too good, but then again I've heard much worse. Great lighting show, and must I say any more than stadium gig? Looking around and seeing more than 60 odd thousand people around you is worth the admission price alone.
