Jenna is in some pain, but she's doing okay. There is no permanent damage, thank God, but she fractured her back in 4 places. She will be okay in time to shoot the new season of the Office, and she just got done shooting Walk Hard. So, as far as good times for breaking your back, now is it.

We're very very appreciative of all the fan support. The notes are very nice.

A few people have inquired about sending care packages, etc. Please don't! We are overwhelmed with flowers, snacks, gifts, and just plain stuff! We definitely don't need anything else.

If people really want to do something, just make a small donation to Rover Rescue in Jenna's name. Some people have already done this and it's really appreciated!

Also, I have something like a thousand messages here on MySpace, so I won't be able to answer people. I normally try to answer folks, but now I just can't. But let people know I've been reading them and, again, they're appreciated.

Okay!

We're okay.

Thanks for your concern, Linda.

Thanks for the update from James! Great news all round.

Jenna was marvelous on The Office episode last night. I have not been a frequent watcher of the show but have tuned in several times this year and Pam has become so dear to me.

I teared up at the very end, I think you know the part I mean. It was just a lovely, lovely moment to see her lit up from the inside. I think it gave hope to those of us who have about given up meeting the person we're meant to be with as our partner. And then thinking about Jenna being in pain with her back injury made me tear up even more.

This sounds like Jenna is the luckiest person to ever break their back in 4 places. Although its still extremely terrible and painful sounding, it sounds like she managed to not have too much of her work schedule getting screwed up by it.

I bet Jenna is happy she has a MySpace at times like this, its an easy way for her to read that all these people care and also is just a plain easy way to waste time when you can't go do stuff.

Thank you for sharing with us, Linda! I'm so glad Jenna is doing fine. I'm glad the Gunns (or the Fischers, for us feminists) are spoiled with gifts and flowers so that we can spoil the cute doggies and kitties instead. I'm glad she got all her work done so that she can just recoup. Though I hope she was able to enjoy her wonderful work on last night's episode. I tell ya, of all the choices any actress could have chosen in displaying both overwhelming joy and surprise I couldn't image a more perfect reaction than Jenna's in her final moment of the episode. I've said again and again that the great thing about Jenna's performances is just the subtle looks she gives--the look of a thousand words. That moment she displayed more than a look. It was a world of revelation and satisfaction. If last season's kiss had me on pins and needles for the season premiere Jenna's delicate performance in displaying the patience of Pam this season left me with so much to chew on until the Fall. I think I'll be able to wait until then just fine. Thanks to Jenna she made Pam's patience infectious. A grand slam by Jenna and the "Office" folks!

That is really outstanding.
He didn't have to take the time to write that,
and he did.

I'm glad to hear it's not as bad as it seemed.

Much love Jenna & James!

Oh, thank gods Jenna is going to be all right, but I'm so sorry she was injured. It must have been very frightening! I was offline for a few days, so thanks for the bulletin to help me catch up. My mom and I will donate to Rover Rescue.

size=4>Good to know she's okay. My sister had a fall that was similar in nature, though thankfully she didn't break anything. Hope Jenna heals well and fine. At least she'll have time to do some blog entries on her profile and have some laughs. It'll help in the healing process, feeling the love of her fans.

size=4>All my best, Mr. Gunn, to you and your wife. I just want to throw out there that when I donated to Rover Rescue via PayPal that in the box for instructions I indicated, "On behalf of Jenna Fischer." Seemed like a nice way to give her some kudos for helping the petzes.

I indicated "Donation dedicated to Jenna Fischer and her beloved pets (including her husband)" C'mon, people, donate and strive to come up with a thousand and one variations on dedicating a donation to Jenna!!!!!!! :)

Oops, I see now in the blog that's what you asked people to do. Sometimes Paypal has the comments box there if you have an account and log in, sometimes not. I have paid for stuff in the past where I was asked to indicate a preference, and there was just nowhere to do that. I'm glad this time I could do something good for someone else, not just buy something for myself.
