Band does not merit coverage

The March 24 IBJ review of the local group, Born Again Floozies, is a disappointment. While I know of the group, I do not know their music. Someone I know in town calls them "fun." But, what is fun when it degrades? I find the name of the group patently offensive. If a local music group was to name itself, "Muslim Sluts" or "Jewish Whores" I think we would all be appalled and I'm sure IBJ wouldn't even consider the slightest coverage. Even though there is a majority of Christians in the area and nationally, there is a pop culture social hypocrisy that promotes that it is OK when degrading terms are coupled with Christianity, particularly with "born again" usage.

While I like to support the best in local music, I cannot here. I am offended and so should you [be]!
