Barack just sent out this email...

Dear Friend -

I am so lucky to be married to the woman who delivered that speech last night.

Michelle was electrifying, inspiring, and absolutely magnificent. I get a lot of credit for the speech I gave at the 2004 convention -- but I think she may have me beat.

You have to see it to believe it.

And make sure to forward this email to your friends and family -- they'll want to see it too.

http://my.barackobama.com/michelle

You really don't want to miss this.

And I'm not just saying that because she's my wife -- I truly believe it was the best speech of the campaign so far.

Barack

I watched it last night and she was absolutely amazing. Mr. Obama, this is actually the first time that I've said this, but you've actually restored some of my faith in America as a citizen.

Before this election, I never really saw the point to vote seeing that, in my opinion, it was the lesser of 2 evils. I actually see something different now. I would like to say thank you very much.

If nothing else, WHEN you become the President, I just hope and pray that you follow the will of the people and do what is right for the American people.

God Bless and good luck with the run.

Michelle was so inspiring. I am working to go back to law school so that I can be able to make a difference the way the two of you have. Your story has touched my heart and inspired me to push forward. Michelle was eloquent and down to earth; I could really relate to her.

She looked beautiful, spoke intelligently, and showed another aspect of growing up in the USA.

As a former Hillary supporter, I want to say I'm 100% behind both of you!

One day you will see just what mistake you have made if you don't support this man and his wife. There is finally someone that is adding class back to our ledership.

As a Canadian, I have to say, Michelle's speech was memorable, but having the two girls come out and talk to Daddy after brought me to tears...so genuine and beautiful. Here's to a better America, a better future and a better world for us all to live in. Cheers to the Obama family and all people wise enough to make the right choice to elect Barack as the next President of the United States. Peace and love to all.

Barack needs the youth vote ~ this is certainly true, however, please keep in mind that he needs the vote of older women (like myself). I am the proud mom of an Ohio National Guard soldier and will be voting for Barack again in November because of what I trust he will do to support our military members and their families ~ including a new GI bill which will allow our brave ones coming home the same opportunity that vets after WWII and Vietnam had ~ the chance to get a college degree and get on with their lives as civilians. I believe he will also bring this war to a close. Michelle did a great job last night speaking to women like me, a proud mom and wife because she is just like me and all of us. She loves her children and wants a bright future for them ~ and for all of our children.

I found her speech to be classy, honest and heartfelt. Michelle Obama is a prime example that no matter what your circumstances are, if you work hard and believe, you can achieve. It gives me hope for what is in store for our country with Mr.

Michelle's speach brought me to tears more than once last night. Her sincerity, the emotion in her voice, the love that radiated from her as she spoke of her family, was refreshing and overwhelming. And seeing Senator Kennedy up there, after all he's been through, showing his support for Barack. I think that his presence, the fact that he had the will to be there - speaks volumes for how passionate the people of this nation are in their efforts to make sure that come January, we are welcoming the Obama family into the White House with open arms.

As a 20 something, I am relieved, excited and determined to have this great man become the leader of this country. Finally a voice that will speak not only for our parents generation, but ours and that of our children.

I am overcome with emotion trying to articulate the way that this has inspired not only myself, but everyone I know, my age. As Michelle said last night, we have grown up with a sort of acceptance of our world, our parents world, being the way that it is. While I cant speak for all, I know that as I have become an adult, I have felt the need to improve my own life, as well as the lives of those I care about. My heart has ached for people less fortunate than myself in our own country and around the world. And as I have grown to understand the effect that our countries government has worldwide, I have longed for a leader that will act on our behalf, address our concerns and ensure that we have every opportunity to do something about them.

I could go on and on here, but what I really want to say is... THANK YOU BARACK OBAMA, THANK YOU MICHELLE OBAMA. I cannot wait to call you the President and First Lady.

This speech was very inspiring and all of the things she said came from her heart! I was curious to see what kind of speaker she was. Not only that, but over all..what kind of woman Barack married. And my God, she blew the campaign out of the water. Michelle is without a doubt ready to be the first lady. 3 quarters of the speech had me in tears.

I don't usually like to comment here - however I feel obligated to say something because it was truly a BEAUTIFUL speech that I felt really captured the essence of who you are as wonderful people and amazing citizens of this country. And anyone who watched that and wasn't moved (I can't even believe that I heard the word 'milquetoast' used - so appalling) is really not human.

I felt inspired for my country, i felt inspired for my community, I felt inspired to reach over and hug my boyfriend in the name of LOVE.

You both move me my friend and all of America has been moved by the undying love and devotion that the two of you share and the love of your children as well. I'm so proud of both of you and what you have accomplished through all the media and other unbelievers has shown. You have prove yourself that through diversity that anyone that has a dream can and will be anything that he or she wants to be no matter what color they are and I can say that "I'm a true American!" Thanks for the video and this aspiring blog my friend and may God bless you and yours, Your Friend For Life, Nathaniel B.

Barack,

Michelle is FABULOUS ! I cried as I'm sure many did. You will be our next President and by your side will be this eloquent lady. I remember when President Kennedy was shot. I was only in the 3rd grade but I remember the impact it had on everybody.... Never has there been a time since then where anything has felt as right as you being our next President...Thank-God for you, Barack =))

Mrs. Obama, I am a ninteen year old junior in college and I found your speech very inspring and encouraging. As an African-American woman, I found myself sitting in awe as you spoke. To me, you represented not only yourself, your family, and your husband, but you represented all of the strong black women that came before you, all of the proud black woman now, and all of our future black woman. It was encouraging to look at the television screen and see a black woman that was not shaking her booty on some video. It gives me extreme hope. I looked at you and hoped that one day I can be as successful as you are. Seeing your family on that stage brought tears to my mothers eyes and my eyes. I saw a beautiful, black family with a father that WAS in the home. That is something that a lot of families, black and white, are missing. So thank you Mrs. Obama.
Thank you for showing the world what a real black woman is!
