I've decided to delete this profile, and start anew.
Current mood: optimistic

Friends,

I've had some time to relax and think about what's next, and decided it's best to delete this profile and start anew.

Regardless of the outcome, we accomplished a lot here on Myspace. We built the biggest profile, the biggest community of supporters, for any candidate on Myspace and I think we all did an amazing job. We did this together, before the campaign or Myspace even got involved.

I've read each and every one of your emails, the comments on the official blog, and the comments/emails on my personal blog, and for those who offered their support and sympathy throughout this ordeal, I can never thank you enough.

While building this profile and working with this community over the years, I've met many genuinely wonderful people. I hope you'll keep in touch.

I'm going to stay positive and look forward to the next opportunity, whether it includes Myspace or not. I hope I'll meet some of you along the way.

Sincerely,

Joe, moderator

p.s. I'll delete the profile in the morning and you can post all the comments you want. Let's try to keep it positive. Many of you worked very hard to spread the word about Obama and build this profile, let's honor that. You can send the nasty comments to my personal profile, and I'll take them there:

www.myspace.com/skyscrapernationalpark.

You can also join the official Barack Obama Myspace profile at www.myspace.com/barackobama

Not sure what to say, here. I certainly understand Joe wanting to move on. However, I don't like seeing that profile completely killed-off like that. Hmm...
