Recently, Alex Albert officially left Project 86. After many years as the drummer for the band, it was time for him to move on to pursue other interests. Alex parted the band on friendly terms, and Project 86 wishes him the best in this new chapter in his life. Thanks for all your years of comraderie, Alex, and you are in our prayers!

God Bless ya Alex!  You've been a huge inspiration to me as a drummer!  You have a very distinct style that just adds so much dimention to whats going on, it's just amazing, and I've learned alot playing along since album #1.  You will be missed Alex!

PS.... Any word on who is gunna fill the shoes?  *cough* I'madrummer*cough* Iknowallyoursongs *cough*.... Anyone yet at all?

Sad....he had some amazing skills on the drums. Is he going on to play drums for another band, or just check out whatever else the world has to offer? Best of luck to him.

Thats sad to see, he played great.

Still feel proud because most bands that have been around as long as you guys have gone through many new members, but to go for a decade without a change is an accomplishment in itself.

Wow, a super bummer....but at the same time exciting. I'd like to think I trust God's got something just a great if not better for the rest of his life. Thanks guys for all you do, and thanks Alex for your encouragement each time I met you and your encouragement via your drum set. Blessings to you brother,

Love you guys

To put it bluntly: this sucks.

Alex added a ton to the band, and is definetly one of the better drummers that's out there right now. Substance, Creativity, and Style > Double Kick Pedals, 16th Notes, and Breakdowns. Every day of the week. This is definetly gonna change the sound of the band a lot, a part of the sound I liked a lot (and still do).

Plus, Alex seemed like a cool guy. I mean, he's got a shaved head; everyone knows only cool people can pull that off (with the exception of Spears).

Wow I am very sad about the departing, I have grown to respect him as one of my most influential players in my life. I know that God has plans for hime and I know that he has plans for Project as well. The ministry that you fellas do is worth its weight in gold for the kingdom. If you are having tryouts I will most definatly be willing to give it a try. I attend Azusa pacific University and I am almost out. One more semester. If you need to get ahold of me: give me a call at 925-207-9932. May God light your path.

P.S Farewell hatchet.

Well I think any follower on Project already saw this..
It is very sad to see him go but I know that the band can only get better!
(Not saying that Alex was holding them back, far from it, but they can't go backwards! They HAVE to get better:D)

I wish you all the best Alex and pray that God blesses you and your life tremendously.
You will be missed..

All the best for the band, can't wait to hear the new album.
