That's how long I slept the night after Florida SuperCon.

Then I slept another 10 hours last night.

I guess I was tired.

I'm going to write a blog a day until I cover the entire story of this last, wild weekend, but I'm going to start off with this little bit:

After the dinner on Saturday night, all the Harry Potter peeps were up on the stage to do pictures and the like. Nat decided she wanted a smoke break, so as she jumped off stage to disappear, she grabbed my guitar and looked at me, asking if she could take it.

This put me in a tough spot. Like many musicians, I am fiercely protective of my instruments. But this is Tonks! She's got to be safe.  Plus, I know she plays, so I figured it'd be okay.  Besides, how long does a smoke take?  5, maybe 8 minutes?

When 20 minutes had passed, I started to get worried.  I asked Fred of Fred Lives if he'd seen her, and he hadn't.  So he and I set off to find her, through the kitchens.

Fast forward 10 minutes.  Hugh (who played Colin Creevey), Danielle (Angelina Johnson), Nat, Fred, and I are all standing in the kitchens, Fred and me playing guitar, and Nat singing the blues, all passing around an open bottle of wine.  If you've never heard Natalia Tena sing the blues, you're missing out.  At a couple of points, we even sang a bit together.

I'll get to the shows, the red carpet, and the media mingle later.

In the meantime, what's your very favorite post-show memory?  Can be Wrock or not, and it needn't involve the band - it could be the fun you had grabbing food afterwards.  This one's got to be close to my favorite, if not it.

I hope everyone had fun at Wrockstock II!  And thanks to everyone who came out for the SuperCon show.  Quite a time, yeah?

And now, your random fact for the day:

A cow's stomach has four compartments: the rumen, the recticulum (storage area), the omasum (where water is absorbed), and the abomasum ( the only compartment with digestive juices).

Wrock on!

Mark

So, for those who wish to know, Andrea (a Reject groupie) drew a picture of my face on a balloon. It was a pretty good likeness, but then it deflated. I gave the deflated balloon me to Dale for her Wizard Rock scrapbook!

You don't know how jealous I am of you right now! It sounds like you had fun... and I spent most of my weekend trying to make my sister listen to Wizard Rock with me (it failed terribly, she's not a Harry Potter fan.)

As for my favorite post-show memory? When we stood in the parking lot and talked forever... then I went to my room and couldn't stop talking about it (my roommate wanted to kill me!)

Can't wait to hear more!

Jealous! Sounds like you had a great time, can't wait for more, I live vicariously through wrockers infinitely more exciting lives :)

Post-show memory would have to be a muggle band as i won't be attending my first wrock show until July (totally excited about it though - UK people check out Accio Wrock shameless plug lol). It would be helping The Devilriders (a local band) pack up their stuff and getting a lift back in the back of their van to a friends house, it was awesome fun lots of laughs and we had snacks and drinks with them at my friends house.

What a rad memory! That sounds like a great time.

For any other British wrockers out there, Accio Wrock sounds like an AWESOME event! 10 bands, plus it's in the middle of Oxford, so good beer and a beautiful location.

The Wizard Rock Panel was a great memory but I would have to say hands down for me it was meeting, hanging out and making friends with all of you guys. I have never had so much fun in my life.<3

Wow. I'm turning green right now. Natalia freakin' Tena...

Best post-concert moment? After a Remus Lupin's concert, we were taking pics with Alex. I guess he got a little bored of just doing thumbs up / arm around shoulder pose for pictures, so when it was Alyssa's turn, he just swings one arm down under her legs and scoops her up in his arms. She just about died. I have the picture - it's so cute.

My favorite part? Ermm... lemme think.

I think the most fun I had was probably on Saturday, the 6 hours we spent in the Celebrity signing room playing scatagories and strumming your guitar. Lots of good memories made, lots of good jokes told, and lots and lots of fun.

-Amber, a reject

Shawn says hers was meeting Natalia Tena. The End.
