Rebecca shares GMA fun at the Sunday Radio Reception with radio promoter extraordinare, Chris Chicago!

"Hey, everybody! I hope you're enjoying the beautiful springtime—at least my friends here in North America –and to my friends around the planet—I hope your atmosphere is 'beautiful' wherever you are!

I am personally loving getting my green thumb back in order and getting to get out on my bike again—AND getting to go to the pool! My grandfather used to call me a 'fish' when I was a little girl back in Australia.

Summer fits us Aussies to a total 't!'

Something interesting happened the other day on one of my bikes rides—not only funny but with a good message I can share! Often I pedal by one particular field filled with cows—it's totally lovely in Tennessee this time of year—everything is so green and beautiful in their little landscape of pasture. I have developed a little tradition with this particular friendly band of cows of 'mooing' at them as I pedal by. I crack myself up every time I do this and they just calmly stare back at me—I'm sure they are silently thinking that I have totally lost my mind! When I hit this spot on my ride, I kind of check that no one is around when I'm pedaling by –so no one can hear me as I'm 'mooing.

On my last trip by I topped the brow of the hill to find three people in the midst of the field staring back at me—smiling—and apparently entertained by the strange sounds they'd just heard! I'm quite sure that had heard my moo's and probably thought how strange!

As I was musing about this on the pedal home, I thought about the fact that we are daily being 'watched' by other people whether we know it or not. It reminded me of the quote: 'Integrity and character are the sum of who we are in the dark when no one is watching.

This whole funny little experience reminded me too that God is watching and He is wanting to be honored with our lives—whether we know that we are being watched or not.

It's was an amusing thing that happened to me with a principal to live by: Be sure your 'moos will find you out, my friends! Live life fully knowing that God is watching!'

I want to say thank again for your prayer support! We are out on the road doing the SHE events and always needing prayer! It's been amazing to see what God has done already and we're exciting to see what He has in store next!

God bless you and thank you again—hoping to see you somewhere on the road!

Rebecca

How funny, I actually thought I was the only one who mooed at the cows. I will moo at them or oink at the pigs an so on and so on. Don't want to go to the zoo with me. I like all animal talk. The monkeys will really give you a look like you are crazy. But hey they don't laugh at you. But how true that we are being watched. And how about the fact that what comes out of our mouth is being heard even when it is under our breath. God hears all. Lets not go to what is said in our mind. I just thank God that he gives us conviction through his Holy Spirit that we might refrain from saying the wrong thing or doing the wrong thing.

Thank God for the moo times in our life , to find humor and fun with ourselves . Makes me wonder if we make God laugh with us ??? May you ladies be blessed as you share your hearts and your talents and your wisdom. I know the Lord Jesus is lifted up at each of your events. May you be blessed for your love for your sisters in Christ. Take care and look forward to hearing about your travels and experiences. God bless and protect you...Bubby

That's interesting, Rebecca! I thought I was the only one who talked to animals. I guess not though. : Well, I have neighed at horses trying to get them to come eat some sweet feed and I have barked at dogs trying to make fun of them, but I have never mooed at a cow. I'll have to try that one sometime. Have a great time in New Jersey and New York! I enjoyed your blog.

That's cool! My family loves to roll down the windows on 2 different streets to mooh or bah, depending on which street. Thank you for the reminder about being watched.
You/you family are AwEsOmE musicians!!!!! It's FUN to praise God, drumming to your/your brother's music!

I grew up down the road from a cow farm. They are such gentle animals with out a care in the world. I am so glad that God created these gentle animals. They remind us to lean on Jesus and give him all are burdens and rely on him. Don't worry and relax.

The only thing about living so close to the cow farm was that we were down wind....lol.

But I never did get to go by and say "Moo.
"

May God bless you,
Jonell Eddy

If you're going to get whacky on a bike ride like that and unwittingly get caught in the act, then you may as well moo on stage sometime just for the heck of it.
I dare you!

Great story Rebecca! Now I don't feel as silly talking to the cow's in our field.

I make it a habit to acknowledge all of God's creatures with at least a simple hello. It makes me sad when an animal acts startled or surprised that someone is actually noticing them.

So I think this story of your's is really great. Sounds like fun.
Maybe next time I will say hello with a 'moo' instead of words:-)

Cool. Nice thought, but the fun is great too. It actually inspired me to do some research on Rebecca's animals. I even discovered that she has a 'stage dog'. http://rebeccastjamesreference. blogspot. com/2008/05/fan-fun-rebecca-animal-farm. html
