Sanfuckinjaya. Buh-bye

ha ha ha haaaa..... ahhhhh.... god I just wannt rip his fucking teeth out with a pair of pliers... the fuck!

I'm embarrassed that I watch that piece of shit show at all in the first place, and far more embarrassed that I've watched it up till this point with that ferret-looking no-talented head-full-o-teeth Sanjaya.
Thanks to pre-menstral little girls with cell phones and This site.

Each week I say I'm not watching the fucking train wreck of a program anymore... but yet morbid curiosity and lack of little else on Tuesday nights has the goddamn TV stuck on Fox.
Bah

So to catch up on some shit...
* The fucking fuck has me talking to my lawyer often. Child support review hearing today. Woohoo.

* Went to my happy warm place for a few days and had a mah-velous time. Wallowed in femininity and met new people. In the next blog or so, I'll write about the plane trip going there, because it NEEDS to be written about.
One cannot make this shit up, is all I'm sayin. Great story and a little something for everyone.

* But for now, I'm gonna ramble on and put up some pics of this Bladerunner White Dragon noodle bar sign I made a couple months ago for a kick-ass party I may have mentioned back in March.

I made a 'neon' sign out of cardboard, a sheet of ceiling acrylic and glowsticks.
And this is how it went:

1. I found the image online taken from the Bladerunner video game. And then I drew it in Paint. (yeah, I know... totally old school... but uh, fuck you.)

2. I made a comp of what I wanted the actual sign to look like in Publisher.

3. I made the double-sided logo signs by printing out black and white lettering with a red background and putting it on the red posterboard and covering it in clear contact paper and bordering them with white duct tape and black electrical tape.

4. I blew up the dragon image and copied it onto posterboard using carbon paper. I took these pics after the fact, which is why the example is on orange, instead of red, posterboard.

5. I then cut the bold lines out of the posterboard using an exacto knife to create negative space and hand painted a black border around them, holding the loose pieces in place with tape.

6. I took a piece of drop ceiling acrylic and cut it the shape of my posterboard, laid the posterboard on top of it and put clear contact paper over the whole thing.

7. I made the back of the sign by cutting cardboard to the shape of the front, making 1" sides by cutting strips of more cardboard and gluing styrofoam blocks to the back to keep the front from collapsing into the back. I covered the backside of the cardboard with more red posterboard and then taped the sides to the back with white duct tape and black elecrical tape as trim.

8. I punched holes and put in metal grommets on the corners for the string to hang it and on the bottom to hang the free moving sign.

9. I lined the inside with aluminum foil and (at the party) taped glowsticks to the inside. I also had a small strip of EL wire I taped to the inside as well, but I didn't need it.

10. I taped it closed, hung it up, and it was fucking awesome, if I should say so myself.

Ta dum. I gave the big sign to Mr. Noodle Man who wasbehind the noodle bar, so he can be all professional-like and all... and have the glowing sign in my hallway. I plan on getting a shitload of EL wire so I don't have to open it up for glowsticks anymore when it's used again. Cuz I already told Mr. Noodle Man that he can borrow it any time he sets up shop, but it lives with me.

So there ya go.
Right now I'm in the middle of redoing my family room. Sewing and redecorating. Revamped a tiffany lamp, covered my couches, sewed a bunch of pillows, redid my windows, etc. I'll get that shit up soon too. Just cuz it's cool.

But the plane trip story IS a good one. I need some time for that. Soon.
Later....
