I am deeply sorry to all my good friends who attend PCHS who lost a great friend.

I am so sorry for the family of Emily Keyes. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I love you.

Today, I lost a dear friend of mine...I love her and will always miss her.
This is for her: And every day we spent together at the card shop. Sorting, organizing, joking around, kicking my ass in Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh. Going through old records and dealing with customers. Talking with Casey and your mom about wierd things. That one day running back from my dad's car to find out if you wanted to go to the movies before you left for Wisconsen. I liked you so much! This is for the night of the Snowball dance, and you were the only girl I danced with and we danced together for the last song...This is for seeing you three weeks ago at Conifair, you were leaving and I waved and you waved back...that was the last time I saw you...

But, the most important day was Conifair three years ago. It was raining, and we were standing together in our hoodies. You asked me: "So Zac, you've never kissed a girl before?" And I replied "nope, never," and you kissed me. You were the first girl I ever kissed. You were the only girl I have ever kissed in the rain. I will miss you forever. I will love you forever.

RIP Emily Keyes.

was going to say stuff...but i always ruin my thoughts when i put them in writing, and this isn't something i want to mess up. AP english essays im ok with messing up in the transition, but not something like this. my friend..but i hardly knew her and that makes me sad. The keyes family doesn't deserve this, because they are amazing

I think Emily was just one of those people that changed everyones lives that she happened to touch. I have to say... we were probably the luckiest people in the world to be able to know her and we will miss her so much. If all this love can be taken with her to the next life... well she will be rich indeed now won't she.

The first thought that came through my head today, when we heard an announcement that we werent going into lockdown, but that things were going on...I instantly prayed. Growing up I can now remeber two school shootings and none of them are fair and never will be. People who take lifes of the innocent are wrong. I am so sorry for your loss and everybodys loss. Tonight my prayers are with the Keyes family, and thoes who have been affected.

Its not easy to type something I don't even know what to say.

I don't want to say I know how you feel, but it goes without saying.

Please call me. I tried to call you.

I was watching the news like a hawk earlier to make sure no one got hurt in the whole mess. When i got back from work i turned on the tv and heard the news. I wish i could have met her she sounds like an amazing person. Who would have thought that something like this could happen in such a small mountain town. I am so sorry Zac. I know people have already written it but it is true; i know sorry doesn't do very much but i truely am sorry for something so horrible that had happened. I'm here for you if you need anything.

I can't begin to tell you how bad I feel about what happened today. Your blog is very emotional and I'll be honest, it made me cry. I am so sorry that this happened to you and all of your friends as well as Emily's family and of course Emily. RIP Emily.

Independent Shorty

I sit here and try to think of something to write; comforting words in which to sugar coat the grief that I know that you as well as I feel. The pain is real, the reality surreal, but the world continues to spin with no consideration to those that inhabit. I cannot even begin to put words to the emotions; how can you describe an emotion. Celebrate her, turn the grief into something you can familarize, keep going and never stop. If you need someone to carry you when you're too tired, I'm here for you. ♥
