In a few short hours you should start to see some of the NECA coverage from Toy Fair. We finished setting up our booth today and 2008 is looking pretty good.
To help get you through the wait for news and images here are some teasers...

All of Gears of War Series 1 and most of Series 2 are on display plus there are many variants and exclusives yet to be revealed

For the Cult Classics fans there is good news and bad news. The bad news is when we release a "series" we are scaling back to 3 characters per series instead of 4. The good news is you will get Series 7 and Series 8 this year along with a few Cult Classics Presents figures/sets and the previously announced Hall of Fame Collection 3. So it's really semantics because you will get just as many CC figures this year, possibly more.
Series 7 is on display in almost final form and the tentative lineup for Series 8 will be announced with a look at one of the figures.

You will see the first of many CONAN figures to come and it is a thing of beauty and something I have wanted since I was about 8 years old

A new figure from TMNT is on display

The classic ALIEN is on display and will be released in the 18" scale and the 7" scale this year. (The 18" stands almost 22" and the 7" stands almost 9" tall!!)

Sam from Trick 'R Treat is making his public debut

There are 5 new Harry Potter figures on display and a lot more to come since we are not showing anything from Half Blood Prince yet...

We are working on El Superbeasto with Rob Zombie

More news, details at Toy Fair

Thanks
Randy

The only thing I will tell you for now is that some MIA Grindhouse figures are being rolled into the Cult Classics series. At the show we have on display...

3 figures that fall under the Cult Classics Presents banner

4 figures that are from Cult Classics 7 & 8

We will announce the tent. Series 8 lineup along with an amazing boxed set/diorama we're working on for Fall

Sorry but Tim Burton did not want to produce figures for ST at this time. Hopefully someday in the future as we did start a prototype last Fall...

Sam from Trick 'r Treat is cute - he's in scale with your other movie figures, right? I get that he'd be smaller, since he's kid-<myspace>size</myspace>d, but is he going to be kid-<myspace>size</myspace>d in relation to, say, Hannibal Lecter, Pinhead and Jack Sparrow, or is he just going to be kid-<myspace>size</myspace>d in relation to himself?

And, forgive me for being misinformed, but...what/who is El Superbeasto?

The Jake, El Superbeasto is an animated movie by Rob Zombie. There´s a myspace page for it, just look around.

That´s great news, NECA is doing El Superbeasto figures, now that´s some animated figures I will end up buying it all!!

Glad to hear some items are on the way. Don't know about the Grindhouse figures though. Hasn't been much interest in these lately.

What ever happened to the Leonidas helmets. You guys really screwed that up.

How come there's no more Iron Maiden figures?

Glad to see there's a Joey Ramone fig. Will the other Ramones follow??

Just saw the Gears of War figure with exploding head.

I've never played the game and wasn't interested in the figures, but seeing that makes me want it.

So good job, all - your plan worked perfectly!

Some really good licenses for Cult Classics too, totally disproving the claims of a certain rival who once insisted that all the cool properties were done already.

So, for CC there's Beetlejuice, the two Grindhouse figs, and Reagan.

Are those the 4 CC Wave 7 & 8 figures then?

BTW, awesome job on all of them, can't wait to get Beetlejuice and the two Grindhouse ones.

Here's hoping that the rest of Wave 8 is announced tomorrow.
