It is absolutely ridiculous you are taking heat like this.  But your response shows how much class you have.  You definitely have a lot of respect and support in the LGF community and we will continue to support you.

Also guys, I know you probably don't want to get too involved in any political aspects of this, but here are a few sites which explain what CAIR is all about.  As you state, they are tied to terrorism and their purpose in doing this is to scare you into being quiet about those ties to terrorism and their overall goals for America.  It is absolutely fantastic that you guys have brought this into the "mainstream" and are shedding more light on the cockroaches, so to speak.  Anyway, just so people are more aware of the lousy background of CAIR:

Again, keep up the great music and great messages in your music.  I discovered you through the music video on YouTube for Open Season and have been a huge fan ever since.

Your lyrics say what I try to explain to my friends with left leaning heads, and they say it much better than I can.  I am proud to be American and proud to be a Stuck Mojo fan. Always have been.  Always will be.

Whatever CAIR attempt, Stuck Mojo are protected by the constitution.

There's no such thing as "bad" publicity. Any moves CAIR attempt will just help publicise "Open Season" and spread the message.

I'm a fan of you since the mid-90's and I always loved your work (incl. Fozzy und The Duke)...regarding the new album I'd say it's a very good piece of music though I needed a little time to get attuned to the record I must admit...but after a short time I now really like the tunes and would call it even with the older stuff...so thank you for releasing this record...

On the other hand, regarding the lyrical side of some tracks - to stick to the topic of this blog - , I was really shocked by some statements, especially in connection with the Open Season video...maybe it's because of my limited knowledge of your language, but at first I thought: "Oh my god, could it be that I'm a fan of a fundamentalist, racist, whatever-ist radical hate band?" Your first statement to the lyrics and their meanings proved me wrong (thank god) and I totally believe your intentions (although I personally can't share all of your opinions), but still I must say I can understand those people who misinterprete what you are saying...even after reading the written lyrics I wouldn't say it's a 100 % totally clear warning against RADICAL islamists only...especially the line with the "claiming you're a religion of peace" sounds to me as if the whole muslim world could be meant with this and linked to this with the rest of the lyrics (again, i'm not a native speaker, but that's how it appears to me)...although you haven't intended this interpretation I wouldn't say it's a surprise if some people understand it that way...you said, those who don't like what you're saying don't have to buy your record or listen to your music, that's absolutely your right as a musician and as a person with the right of freedom of speech...but on the other hand, those who have  problems with your lyrics (which includes me: not because I think you're racist or something like that, but because I think the lyrics are misunderstandable) have also the right to state this...I can't say if those death threats to this CAIR leader can be linked with this politician or your lyrics (I would assume they can't), but I can understand why people feel uncomfortable with your lines...

I guess I'm not making me very popular with my opinion and I know that as a German I have a different view to some things as you as an American, but I thought that had to be stated...and although I don't like everything what you have to say, I will now listen to your music and I hope that your next european tour will come soon.

Well stated,the lyrics are not 100% clear and are easy to be misinterpreted,though someone might point that true muslims (yes,their religion is peacefull,but as all religions,is turned into a weapon in the hands of warmongers!) would come in nobody's hood to fuck with one's family!
Thank what Gods may be,there are true muslims out there,who are against terrorism,in fact,they have become targets of terrorists!

The CAIR probably just heard one line of lyrics from the song and based their opinion on it. I think it would have something to do with the lines

"No need to hide behind slogans of deceit, Claiming that you're a religion of peace, We just don't believe you, We can clearly see through, The madness that you're feeding your people"

Which I can understand if they got upset about that, but they are having this big hissy-fit over the entire song and video, which as you say is just claiming that if a war is brought to your territory, you'll fight. It seems they are using Mojo as a fucking scape-goat and excuse for the reason why theres so much hate towards muslims. Truth is, the media in general has generated such hate so why aren't they blaming them instead of a song or a band. I mean come on, this is like the time they blamed Marilyn Manson for inspiring kids to carry guns and shoot people. He didn't, and it's just music!

Stuck Mojo rocks, simple as. And if they don't like the messages in your songs then they should not listen to it. Simple. Stupid bastards.

CAIR is actually very heavily involved in the global Jihadist movement. There is a very good book on the subject by Paul Sperry called "Infiltration". But basically, they are trying to twist the issue by claiming racism when you dare to question extremist members of a religion. I'm glad that you guys aren't backing down from this and strongly encourage you not to do so.
