Does anyone have a copy of "Summertime"? I remember the first time i heard it. My friends thought it was a new Van Halen tune. I miss the old scene. I hope all who were a part of it( players, listeners, club workers,FANS) are all doing well.

peace  andy B.

Hey Andy, I do have a copy of the demo with "Summertime" on it. I will have to convert it to MP3 for Download but I think I can manage that. I am actually looking to get my hands on the demo with "Kill4you" and "Thunder Run" myself. If you know where I can find them to DL or can score a copy of the demo itself, please let me know. If you want, Please feel free to add me and I will work on getting that song for ya. Rock on

Hey there,

I have some Bang live shows on cassette from the Channel. I was Tommi's drum tech for 3 years, then later with Spread Eagle too. I have "Thunder Run" and "Kill for You" as well as some others.

Hey Jim,

As I posted above, I do have a copy of the demo with "Fire It Up" "Suite 16" and "Summertime" on it. I will have to convert it to MP3 for Download but I think I can swing that. It seems there are enough people out here looking for it.

I am actually looking to get my hands on the demo with "Kill4you" and "Thunder Run" myself. If you know where I can find them to DL or can score a copy of the demo itself, please let me know. If you want, Please feel free to add me and I will work on getting that song for ya. Rock on

So, I might be retarded for stating this, but since nobody else has-are we aware that minus Michael and add Ray West and this band went on to become Spread Eagle? I'm asking cause well...nobody said it yet...lol. Anyway Ray lives in Florida, about 4 hours from me, and has a new project. Thought I'd note that, in case anyone cares :)

Vince - Guitarist of Blue Tiger

I could search through old boxes, I have a ton of stuff from them for quite a few reasons, besides me and tommy living in Julie and Kathys apt on Beacon street for quite a while,
me and tommy at bang and pieces shows and parties, Eric Leff and ROB (I so miss you) Deluca always making me friggin smile, and feeling great,
this was all before Blue Tiger, or even Masquerade,
I would say that the Bang/Pieces days were damn, the best to remember,
so if I get a chance, anyone want Pictures of insanity at its best HA, I got a few,
anyone know where Joanne is? she use to be one of their closest friends and Tshirt girl for a while, ( Joanne stafford )
ah well, to the best days.

Wacked Offa Scooby Snacks

I'd love to get my hands on some of those old Beat magazines, I never saved my articles!  All of 16 yrs old, David G had us "earn our keep" by writing, proofreading and editing the club listings.  In exchange, we had free reign of Bunratty's.  That's a big world for juniors in high school!

We'd sneak off to Boston most nights, to Narcissus, Bun's and 102 Chester, cruising back into Amesbury just in time for homeroom.  The fingerless gloves, spandex and Aquanet didn't go over too well.  It was the year before "stirrup leggings" went mainstream, and I'd get sent home every day to "put some pants on".

Oh, the good old days.

Great page! I've searched numerous times over the last few years for recollections of Bang, and I was starting to think I had halleucinated their existence! For those interested, a Spread Eagle video is here:
