I first came across Emily Lazar when flicking through My Space one weekend looking for bands and models to feature in Street Voice. Once I realised M was in a kick as rock band 'The Sick List' as well as being a stunning model I just had to interview her for Street Voioce. Here's what M had to say for herself.

Street Voice: Hi Emily can you introduce yourself to the world?

Hello world.... you will soon be under my musical spell... *insert evil laugh here* kiddin'

Street Voice: So what inspired you to be a model?

I kinda just fell into doin it.... went to a job with a boyfriend who was modeling and the photographer ended up taking sum shots of me and asked if I wanted to test shoot for real and well it was boss I must say.... hella fun...

Street Voice: What kind of modelling jobs do you usually participate in?

I'm currently the Draven girl for draven shoes so i do ads for them all the time... they're rad and sponsor my band! I also do ads for Steeleworkx jewerly and Loaded clothing... all sponsors as well

Street Voice: You're obviously very stunning so is modelling a full time job for you?

No not at all, just a hobby... I'm a singer and in a band first and foremost!!





Street Voice: Would you ever pose naked if it was going to be beneficial to you as a model or as a front person for your band?

Hahahahha.. i have been asked before.....

Street Voice: How did The Sick List all get together as a band?

Jay, my guitarist and I started writing sum time ago... i found Viv through mutual musician friends.... Mark came through Viv... and Eric moved from Colorado to be with us just because he <33 the music and believed in the project so much!

Street Voice: Are there any plans to release a single or album soon?

Yes... we are looking to release an EP early next year.





Street Voice: Have you played with many of the bigger bands from NYC?

We actually have a pretty big show coming up Thursday at The Knitting Factory Main Stage in NYC with the national act Adema... we're opening.... they aren't from NYC but they rock hard!!

Street Voice: Any bands you'd love to share a stage with?

Yes... I'd love to go out with My Chem or The Used, AFI or Rise Against... I like trashin stages with boys haha!

Street Voice: It's so obvious you love Rock N Roll and you're doing a blinding job fronting your band so how far would you like to take it?

All the way is the only way mister....

Street Voice: Apart from the band and your modelling career what else do you get upto?

I <333 to write and have written articles for online music magazines as well as print fashion zines 

Street Voice: After the great review I wrote do I get a sloppy kiss when I come to NYC next year?

Yessir... a big fat one heh heh heh....

I can't wait for that, hehe!





Street Voice: You come across as a fun person so any good stories you'd like to share with our readers?

Recently i begged our bassist to go naked at a show with my ex boyfriends band just to ensure that we kick their ass in every fashion... and he did it without blinking an eye, hahahha... now thats a loyal bandmate

Street Voice: What plans do you have for the rest of 2007?

Getting signed and touring!!!!

Street Voice: Anything you'd like to add?

To all the people out there that have followed me thus far, big <333 and so much more in store, just you wait and see.... this ride's only just begun
