That is certainly what they would have us believe as they were preparing the net.

Now that the global corporations and legislations are in place, with owned armies and private contractors, they are likely not as concerned that we know... Though their fears may be what instigates their next move... my guess would be further terror attacks in the country and calling martial law.... if they move to do this before the election we may be seeing Bush's face as President into 09 without his false mask of trust. This of course would show up the election campaigning as the circus and diversionary tactic that it is.

It has a very ominous message at about 5 minutes, saying that a secret government agency says Justice Department lawyers do not have the clearance to investigate them.... what? Mike Gravel says at the end of the video that the internet venues and youtube are our only hope.... mainstream media is bought up by the usurpers as surely are our governments. If there is an opportunity to vote this year, please carefully consider all the ramifications.

Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel, as far as I am aware, are the only 2008 US Presidential candidates who aren't affiliated with and support the CFR and a one world government. Ron Paul is still very much in the running, though big ops including the controlled mainstream media, would have us think otherwise.

Spreading votes between the three would dilute possible opposition too much. To have any sort of effect at all in the elections there would need to be a cohesive oppositon. My choice would be Ron Paul.

And yes, given the situation and taking in the lessons of history, this man, and others speaking up concerning the corruption from the top down, he needs strong support and protection by and for the American people.

Yes, you are correct on the non-Council affiliation. For the most part all three men believe in the same Constitutional civil liberties- with some small differences. The main difference between Ron and the Democrats is their economic stance on how to achieve American greatness once again. Dennis and Mike believe in pumping in a Keynesian demand side architecture like FDR did in the 30's, while Ron believes in the Laissez-faire supply side model or actually Austrian Economics. The most incredible and embarrassing fact regarding all this New World Order (Oder) intrigue is that the American sheeple have allowed themselves to become so ignorant, complacent, apathetic and brain washed that the bad guys are going to win by default! Game called due to collective dumb ass! What a horrible, degrading shame that we have all let this happen while watching American Idol, Lost, Survivor and all the other drivel that we are "programmed" with by the "mainstream media"! Spreading the Truth is like trying to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of our valuable time and it makes the pig angry, in most cases.

I've been a big fan of Ron Paul. Unfortunately, America is not ready for me to make sense. His economic views are quite interesting and plausible. I do not think we've heard the last of him.

Yes, international corporate entities seeking lower labour costs and immunity in many areas outside the laws of the country... As well as the loss of jobs within the country, valuable technologies such as microchips used for communications and defense have been exported, for manufacture in China. I have seen discussions on the dangers of built in deficiencies in microchips susceptible to specific radio frequencies. In the wrong hands this could be used to wipe out communications and defense technologies at a crucial time.

No infomred person could deny that we are now at a major crossroads... a junction in time, where at any moment things could change "in the blink of an eye".

By Subodh Varma - TNN | NEW DELHI: The tale of massive fraud and embezzlement of millions of dollars by the US military in its operations in Iraq continues. Testifying before the US Congress Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on 22 May, Mary Ugone, deputy inspector general of accounts in the Pentagon said that an audit of $8.2 billion spending related to the Iraq war showed that $7.8 billion had been improperly spent.


Over 180,000 payments, mostly since the war started in 2003, were made by the defense department to contractors for everything from bottled water to vehicles to transportation services.


In her testimony, Ugone also revealed that $135 million were given to forces from three countries UK, South Korea and Poland to facilitate their participation in the war. This is the first time that the US has officially admitted paying its allies in the so-called Coalition of the Willing that invaded Iraq in March 2003.


In his opening statement, Henry Waxman, chairman of the committee, said that wounded soldiers are getting notices from the Pentagon to return signing bonuses with interest since they had not completed the full term. “There is something very wrong when our wounded troops have to fill out forms in triplicate for meal money while billions of dollars in cash are handed out in Iraq with no accountability,” he said.


In an earlier report released in November 2007, the Inspector General had concluded that the Defense Department couldn’t properly account for over $5 billion in taxpayer funds spent in support of the Iraq Security Forces. It said that thousands of weapons, including assault rifles, machine guns, and rocket-propelled grenade launchers were unaccounted for, and millions of dollars had been squandered on construction projects that did not exist.


Ugones testimony gave detailed examples of the bizarre manner in which US defense officials doled out huge amounts of money without recording where it was going. In one case a sum of $320 million was paid an Iraqi official for paying salaries with only an incompletely filled voucher signed by one official. Since no details of the spending plan were attached as required by Pentagon rules the auditors have no clue as to where the money went. This payment was made from assets seized from Iraq.


Auditors found that the Pentagon gave away $1.8 billion from seized Iraqi assets. There were 53 vouchers noting these payments but not even one adequately explained where the money went.


In another instance, two vouchers, one for $5 million and the other for $2.7 million showed payments to a vendor for goods and services provided except that there were no details of what goods or services were actually delivered.


Over $2.7 billion was spent on providing equipment and services to the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF). The auditors found that $2 billion of this was not properly accounted for. For example, 31 heavy tracked recovery vehicles costing $10.2 million were given to the ISF, but 18 of them could not be traced because identification numbers were not recorded.

BAGHDAD – The American security firm once known as Blackwater ended its operations in the diplomatic hub of Baghdad on Thursday, bringing to a close a bitter chapter in U.S.-Iraqi relations that began with a deadly shooting by its contractors.

Iraqis welcomed the departure from the capital of the company, which has protected American diplomats in Iraq since the start of the war in 2003. The company, which has changed its name to Xe, will continue to have guards in some southern areas and to run its aviation service and through September.

The end of the firm's Baghdad operations comes nearly two years after the Iraqi government first demanded it leave after the September 2007 shooting on a busy square in central Baghdad that left as many as 17 Iraqi civilians dead.

It was small consolation for Iraqis.

"As far as I'm concerned this decision should have been taken years ago. Any security firm in Iraq should have used Iraqi personnel so that they could help them know Iraqi culture," Baghdad resident Jabar Farhan said.

U.S. Embassy spokeswoman Susan Ziadeh said Xe's contract for Baghdad ended Thursday and a new security provider, Herndon, Virginia-based Triple Canopy, was taking over.

Blackwater guards will remain protecting American diplomats in the predominantly Shiite cities of Hillah, Najaf and Karbala, all south of Baghdad, until Aug. 4, according to the State Department.

And Presidential Airways — which operates some two dozen helicopters — will continue to fly until Sept. 3, it said.

Ziadeh would not comment on the company's other task orders, saying only that they "will come to an end once they expire, which will be soon."

Moyock, North Carolina-based Xe had continued operations in Iraq despite a decision by the Iraqi government to deny it a license in January, raising questions over the strength of Iraq's sovereignty as it remains heavily dependent on the U.S. for security.

Iraq's Interior Minister Jawad al-Bolani said the government recognized that the U.S. administration needed some transition time in shutting down the company's operations.

"There were certain outstanding technical issues involving the use of Iraqi airspace that required a limited extension," he said.

The Iraqi government also has said it had no objections to the possibility of former Blackwater guards who were not involved in the shootings remaining in Iraq as employees of other companies. "We're dealing with companies, not individuals," al-Bolani said.

Iraqis have long complained about the heavy-handed behavior of security contractors for Blackwater and other companies. That anger peaked after the 2007 shootings in Nisoor Square.

Five Blackwater guards have pleaded not guilty to manslaughter and weapons charges in the shooting, which prosecutors say was an unprovoked attack on civilians. A sixth Blackwater guard struck a deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to killing one Iraqi and wounding another.

The shooting strained relations between Baghdad and Washington and became an issue in negotiations over a U.S.-Iraqi security pact that took effect on Jan. 1 as the Iraqis demanded the lifting of the blanket immunity that contractors had.

But the American Embassy, which is located in Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone, and U.S. government employees elsewhere in Iraq have relied heavily on Blackwater for protection in extremely dangerous conditions, with threats ranging from suicide attackers to kidnappings.

Triple Canopy is one of three private companies, along with Xe and Virginia-based Dyncorp, that have handled security for U.S. diplomats in Iraq. But Xe is the largest, having won more than $1 billion in government contracts since the March 2003 start of the Iraq war.

Blackwater first got attention in 2004 when a mob of insurgents ambushed a company security detail in the city of Fallujah, killing four guards and burning their bodies, stringing some of their remains from a bridge.

Xe spokeswoman Anne Tyrrell defended the company's performance in Iraq.

"We are honored to have provided this service for five years and are proud of our success. No one under our protection has been killed or even seriously injured," she said.

After the Nisoor Square deaths, Iraqi officials ruled that Blackwater would be barred from operating in the country. Despite the ban, the State Department renewed Blackwater's contract seven months later, in April 2008.

After Iraqi authorities denied the company an operating license in January, the Obama administration said it would not renew the company's existing task orders.

However, the State Department signed a $22.2 million deal in February to keep the company working in Iraq through most of the summer.
