Well, after a 14 hour studio day yesterday (we finished vocals at 1am this morning!), the recording phase for our upcoming EP release is complete! I tried to write a blog while sitting in the studio, but the "w" key on the computer there doesn't work unless you hit it really hard over and over and it's hard to talk about what "we" are up to without using a lot of "ws."

Needless to say, I was a little out-of-it leaving the studio at 1am last night, but unless I was delirious, I believe that we have some amazing-sounding tunes on our hands. I don't want to release all the specifics yet about what songs they are, but one of them is one of the first three songs that Luke and I recorded in his bedroom almost 4 years ago! We weren't even planning on recording that tune, but when I sent Will all of the songs to listen to, that one really jumped out at him. I'm so glad that he wanted to do it, because it is actually my favorite out of all three.

The songs will now be shipped off to Nashville to be mixed and mastered, so we won't even hear the completed versions for a few weeks. Talk about anticipation!!!

So stay tuned for LOTS more info soon. We will hopefully be posting our gig dates for Jan-March in the next week, I just need to confirm the dates first. We are still shooting for Jan 30 as the EP release date.

Wish I could share more! But I'm trying to save all the fun for later!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
