aww yeah. my dream SO came true. finally got to see weezer after gushing weezer out of my pores for the last year (yeah, that's how long i've been a fan . . .). i even recognized karl and handed (more like shoved) my brownies into his hands. his response: "are these pot brownies?" no! and the avalon was so funny -- i was able to sneak EVERYTHING inside (meaning my banana, extra brownies, bottle of water, etc.). i could have done some damage. best line: ". . . and i'm rivers. and for this song, my name is jonas." sweet. beverly hills was funny -- during the line about taking pictures by the pool, brian mimed some picture-taking and made shutter noises. and scott even did a sweet whistle (i think during some line about preppy girls or about the celebrities being beautiful and clean). awesome. lyds and i totally got separated from tashfeen and myra (sorry), and i was squeezing her hand so tight because i didn't want to get lost. it was the most fun i'd had in a long time. i was jumping up and down and singing my lungs out to every song (except for the new stuff -- i'm saving my virgin ears until may 10, when the new album comes out). i'm not really an outwardly emotional kind of girl, but i had to do something or lydia would have screamed at me (well, she did anyway). the pushing and shoving was so violent that now, at 5pm the next day, i still feel as though i had been beaten up. wow. you should have seen the brownies and banana after the show. check out my comment at weezer.com -- look under the boston show entry from karl. when they come back in july, i will see them again -- both times. watch out, world.
