I'm taking another few days off to play Xbox this week because I handed in my homework. The last few days of homework have each lasted roughly 22 hours. Handing it in induced a mild pique. I took the demo of my album all the way across Londinium but my manager wasn't in and told me to drop it through the door, only I couldn't remember what door it was. As he was in the cinema and not answering his dog I had to make a snap decision and opted to leave it under the wheelie bin. My reason for this was that if it wasn't his door, my new album might end up in the hands of an enthusiastic music fan who would want to share it with the rest of Limewire. Suffice to say I don't want the rest of Limewire to hear the album in its current state. Call me paranoid but I reckon I've done more racket than Scarface and he shot his best mate and his sister
But if you want to hear something I've been doing, the Elton John cover that I spoke about before on
Beat Stevie (Your Song) is up on my MySpace now. I'm really happy with it. I was extremely emotional that day which I like to think you can hear in my voice alongside a very 'exhausted' band fresh off the tourbus from the Scotland tour (also on
Beat Stevie).
Long live Michael Palin.
