I hope you all had a good Christmas. I spent the festival of red playing fieldrunners on the iPhone. Didn't even touch red alert, far cry or gears of war. My hi score is 490 thousand on crossroads. Skill on toast. Can nobody fuck with me.
The outside world looks quite scary from BBC News 24 and everything on eBay seems cheaper in the UK than in other countries. No more overseas bargains. 50% off everything at home.
Ted Mayhem is in Africa somewhere. I got a text saying he'd eaten strange animals and generally paid lots out in bribes. I think the hash is really good though.
I seem to have written 10 songs over the holiday. It's got something to do with the book I'm writing in. It is pink and feels nice. It makes me want to write things and rub them out again.
New desk. New sounds. New album. All good. I probably won't make it to America this time, though, as we can't afford it. Sorry all Stateside Streets fans. Not financially viable. Would have been nice, but we've had some great shows before. I guess that's the main thing. Doesn't stop me feeling sad but I've been getting paid to tour all over the world for years as a result of those over-priced CD things. It has to come to an end at some point.
And then there's the UK tour. There may be some quite big changes in the live show after this, so even the UK tour could be a farewell of sorts.
It's all up in the air really, but I actually feel quite excited. I really like the music I'm writing and I feel blessed that I'm able to write it.
