Crazy crazy days this week, and i'm LOVING every second of it....
The record release was a total success, as was the party, and this is all just the beginning of this process for me. I'm a slow and steady kind of girl, and some wonderful things will be popping up over the next few months so i look forward to sharing all that goodness with you.

I have to say, the Hotel Cafe will forever be my musical home. It has gone through many changes, as have i, and still when i get back on that stage i feel like i am 21 years old, singing for my life, and i don't think that will ever change. There's a spirit about that place and its haunting my musical soul... ~ Tuesday night was probably the first night in years that i left before last call. For ONCE in my life, i was a good girl... but i kind of had to be because i was shooting my music video the next day and had an early call time.

About the music video... i cannot wait for it to be all processed & put together. I think, and since i have never done a music video i really don't know how it all goes, but i THINK it was stunning. We created a whole world. Claire the director had a really strong concept and she brought all the right people on board to make this whole vision come to life. I will be posting pictures from the shoot very soon, i can't wait for u to see the art direction, the CLOTHES (thank you ellie!) my make up, and the overall vibe.
And i also had a stand in/body double which was kinda neat hehehehe
I worked for 14 hours yesterday which was nothing compared to the powerhouse crew we had on set that started load in before 6 am... i want to give a big thank you to all of them and thank them also for their patience!!

Today i am doing my Apple in store performance. this is really excited because the show will be recorded for my live acoustic iTunes ep... its going to be really honest and pretty, and i think it will go nicely beside the new record. The show will be at 7 pm sharp and is being held at 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica, California. I hope that u can come and hang with me, and let me sing u songs. If u have friends in the area, definitely send them over as well~

After i do the performance i am going to head on over to LAX to take a whirlwind flight to europe. My boyfriend-for-life is headlining Glastonbury Music Festival, so i'm going to make it there JUST in time to see him hit the skins in front of 180,000 people.
I couldnt be more excited for this short, VERY short trip. haha. I'll be taking some Flip Video of europe, so stay tuned for that as well.. yeeow.

For those of you that bought my record, I hope that you will love it forever & ever...
I cannot begin to find the sweet words i feel knowing that u are able to rock out to my tunes in ur home/car/office/local pub/party/retail store/etc.
