Two pieces of breaking news I had to share with you.
First of all, the winners of the
Songdoor Songwriting competition were released this week and our own
Sean Clive and
David Smith won in the Christian portion with "The Everlasting." Congratulations, Sean and David! This is a second win for this songwriting team - their song, "Amazed," took the top spot overall in last year's competition.
Second,
Noelle Garcia has released a new CD, "Meet Me Where I Am", released through
World Library Publications, and got a very favorable review on Christianity Today's website! You can read it here:
http://www.christianitytoday.com/music/reviews/2008/meetmewhereiam.htmlBe sure and listen to the
GrapeVine News Minute Podcast this weekend where we will have a compelling 2-part podcast on
Danielle Rose. As some of you may know, Danielle is entering the religious life. We interview her best friend, her father, and the general manager of
World Library Publications which distributes her CDs, and we will preview her latest, "I Thirst." I have to tell you, this is one compelling story about vocations! It really gives you an inside look as to what people go through in answering the call of God, and what their friends and family go through as well. Don't miss it!
See you!
Susan
