Several years ago all of my closest friends decided to move to NYC for community, faith and the Arts. The community that my wife and I are apart of are the type of people that make you feel alive. I am encouraged by the thought that one day I will grow old, weird and smelly beside these people. Every once in a while I meet someone that challenges my motives and moves my soul.Yesterday was one of those days.
"To Write Love On Her Arms" wrote a kind blog and explained what we do in a way that I never would be able to do. The people that have stopped by and listened to our music have been so encouraging. Thank you for all of the kind words that you have left me. Thank you for your honest words of encouragement. I am honored to be considered an honest man. I am overwhelmed by the love you kind people have shown me over the past several hours.

To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery. Many of my friends have been moved and challenged by this beautiful community.
