So last night I was bored and decided to make it a blockbuster night. Actually, I wasn't bored, I was relaxing after a long day rehearsing with my new band!!! FINALLY! They are really awesome and I am so excited. This is going to take the Ferras (yes I just referred to myself in the third person, let me have my moment) experience to a whole new level kiddies. Its gunna be FUN. I really hope that all of you are saving ur lunch money and doing whatever you have to do in this time of economic insanity to come out and see me on this little mini tour thing happening. All the dates are posted on myspace and on my website. I really must see all of your shining faces soon. These shows are going to kick arse. Anyway, the band is so awesome and u guys are gunna love em!!!! So yay!!!

Back to last night>

I rented FLAWLESS with the lovely and talented Demi Moore. Ok. This is a movie you HAVE to see. It seemed kinda lame during the previews and whatever and that's why I never saw it= but I was having like panic attacks until the end of the movie. Ok, maybe thats just me because when I watch a movie (if its good)- i throw myself into it so much that I am totally right there in the movie. Anyway, this one kept me on the edge of my seat and it will do the same for you. If not, then I dont think we can be friends. Sorry.

lol

I also wanna take this time to congratulate my dear cholita friend Katy Perry on all of her success. The moment I met Katy, I knew she was destined to shine brighter than any star. When I first met Katy, one night she came over to my house and brought her guitar. We ate garlic pistachios (well, katy ate the whole bag) from the farmers market in santa barbara and played music. She said, I just wrote this song, Ur So Gay, here it is. And I was blown away. Love my little Katy. And my bff I share with ms kitty Mr. Markus Molinari (check out his blog www.markusisthedrug.com for all your latest celeb goss) I miss so much. He's been out on warped tour with Katy. We're partners in crime here in Hollywood and its just not the same without em here. If you haven't seen the video of him and katy breaking into my house and stealing my gucci shoes, youtube it. Those two. Sheesh. lol

I shall digress now to the subject of Sylvia Browne who is this psychic who's super old and kinda crazy-ish. Go figure. Anyway, I love her. And i've loved her forever. I remember seeing her on Montel Williams all the time giving her predictions and shit. I just saw her on Montel the other day haha (thank god 4 tivo) and she said we have 93 years left on this planet. Who knows. At any rate, I want a reading. And I want it now. Girlfriend charges 700 smackers for a 1hr reading. She's supposedly super accurate and talks to the dead and that's always tripped me out hardcore. There was that one psychic medium lady that had the show recently on (was it lifetime?) where she talks to dead people and SHE IS SUPER CRAZY ACCURATE. Anyway, I forgot her name- oh yeah, it was Lisa Williams. I saw her one day while me and markus were getting a pedicure (yes I get pedi's and I love them. so what- so does shwartzenegger.) Anyway,I was in one of those super cool massage pedicure chair thingies and I glance over to my right, guess who's sitting next to me???? Lisa Williams. I about flipped my shit- cuz I had been obsessed with her show like since it premiered) and all i wanted to ask her was if she could talk to my gma -(who was the most amazing person on this planet who died suddenly some years back.) My gma always used to make me sing "Wind Beneath My Wings" everytime I went and visited her. So, when she passed away, I sang it at her funeral. It was OUR SONG. Well, as I was sitting there next to Lisa Williams, I couldnt get the courage up to ask her if she could contact my gma so I just sat there having a panic attack and probably looking like a stalker. Anyway, I closed my eyes and said "gma, if you're here, gimme a sign through lisa" Well about 2 minutes passed- I SWEAR ON MY LIFE- and "Wind Beneath My Wings" came on the radio ------ right after some rap song. I was like WTF!!!!!! The afterlife is real people!! And this shit convinced me. Oh well, I'll probably never see lisa williams again or PAY 700 bucks to have a reading with Sylvia, but what occured to me is that we are just here for a moment and then gone the next, but our souls live on forever. In some shape and form. That's what I believe. Its comforting to know that....

Ok lovies, if i type any more, my fingers are going to fall off.

I'm off to peruse perez then I'm going to sleep.

I love you all, thanks again for your endless drawings, poems, emails, voice messages, comments etc.

You have my heart, always and forever.

aha your awesome =D
and omgggg i love syliva browne!!!!! she gets in my head and makes me think about things i cant see. its weird..but i loveeee itt!! =D and i like when montel did those shows that went back to all the predictions she made and how they came true and stuff..thats weird about your gma..i remember when my gma died..i was 9 [im 16 now] and me, my dad, step-mom,step-brothers and sister were in the living room just talking [this was right after her burial] and it was stragely quiet..and in the locked cabinet door there was a wind-up music box thing that my gma used to play when her grandkids were going to bed..and all of the sudden out of the blue..it started playing..now remember..this thing has to be wound up..and to make things freakier..she had the key to the cabinet and never gave it to anyone so nobody could have done it..really got me thinking..and thats when i really started getting interested in this stuff =D but ur story is better..good luck with things..unfortunately i wont have the money to come see you because im moving and we need all of our money but maybe next tour!

hope you read this,

omg that totally freaks me out when they do that. id ask God a question or something while im praying and like a few minutes later a song would come on the radio and a lyric would totally jump out at me. it was as if God was actually answering my question. lol
oh heres somethin cool to try...if you ever have a bible around and you need some sort of guidence or whatever, ask a question and close your eyes. take the bible in your hands and just randomly open it to some page. then open your eyes and read the first passage you see. i cant tell you how many times ive gotten an answer by doing that.
it will make your brain hit the floor
-and im with you on the whole afterlife idea
*high five*

Saw your bulletin and read your blog. So weird I happened to read it tonight... I'm coming out to L.A. next week and I'm planning to visit a psychic for the first time. I called this afternoon and had my brother's gf get the psychic's number for me. I was already stoked, but now I'm super stoked haha! My brother has been to her and said she is dead on about everything and really freaked him out!

I to want reading from a psychic...always have even though my friend's mom thinks it the work of the devil lol!!! I love Lisa Williams..when i finally got around to watching her show it was moved..I'm a believer especially after hearing what you said thats crazy but a cool experience none the less...Katy Perry did the impossible...she has a song with lesbionic tones in it and she got me to sing along loudly in public to it without a care...everytime I sing that song people just look like im crazy...but it's ok...I actually wanted to rent flawless but if you say its good then i will take ur word for it!!!! but awesome blog...continue being remarkable....Love ya lots!!!

Ferras:
I absolutely love you! You never cease to amaze me. Your music gives me what I need every time I listen to it. No matter what kind of mood I'm, one of your songs always speaks to me. It's always exactly what I need. I can be depressed and I listen to Aliens & Rainbows or Liberation Day and it gets me in a better mood without fail every time. And for some reason I always end up putting My Beautiful Lie on repeat. It's gotta be my favorite, but your whole album is just amazing. Thanks for everything you do! Keep up the good work!

And just a suggestion, but I'm thinking that you need a Christmas album. Yeah. That'd be good. I always start listening to Christmas music around late September or early October, so about the first or second week of December I'm tired of it, but I still say you need a Christmas album.

Honey, you are the "bees knees"!! LOL I just love how you personally keep everyone up to speed. Your posts are full of fun and openness. I really appreciate that. Please keep it up!! About Sylvia, I recently saw her in Indianapolis and she told the whole crowd how within 2 weeks, everyone in the room would have something special happen to them. I went with 2 friends and we all three, at the time, were job hunting. Within 7 days, we all had new jobs that seemed WAY too good to be true. She's so spot on and HYSTERICAL besides. If you ever get the chance for a reading, PLEASE post it on your blog. I would love to hear about it. Good luck and hopefully you'll come see us in Indy soon!

That is way out! A few years back a friend died (she committed suicide) and we were sitting in the room where it happened asking for a sign. All of the sudden we all hear a tap from downstairs (we were all upstairs) and "Let it be" came on the radio. Talk about a sign!! I am just like you where music and lyrics signify moments in my life. I'll hear a song and remember a moment in time. Any ways, I really love your music. You are so talented... can't wait to see you in Milwaukee in a couple of weeks. Wish I could meet you, would love to talk to you. Peace.

What a cute story. Hope you went to a real pedi establishment, i.e. a spa. I've found the strip mall variety is quite shady and possess questionable hygiene practices.
