so, i found through someone that Courtney Love was playing a secret, FREE show at the Hiro Ballroom on 16th street last night! (july 12)

since it was free...and i unsuccessfuly tried to pull every string in town to get in easily...i had to wait on line- but such a dedicated lady as myself can handle it! i got to Hiro at 5pm and was the 9th person in line! aww yeahh! 9 out of almost 1,000 that lined up! yeah i was there for five hours..and the last hour i had crazy eyes...but it was worth it!

my girl lisa mcquade and my drummer jon weber met me there and we had our own fun little street corner party...lisa had the crazy eyes too...if ya know what im sayin!

ha..anyways,, the wait was obviously well worth it! once inside, i reverted back to my 15 year old self and made a mad dash to the front row where i resided the rest of the night. once courtney came on me, lisa and weber were immediatly seperated (i being completly insane stayed alfoat upfront like a warrior)

courtney looked BEAUTIFUL. like this shining star...really, the woman is unearthly...so gorgeous.
she sounded so fresh and clean and really nailed it. she played about 20 songs..LOTS AND LOTS of new ones...(im totally obsessed with "Never Go Hungry Again"...had tears rollin down my eyes)
..and it was great to hear the classics like "miss world" "malibu" "doll parts" "northern star" and "celebrity skin"

even though im half way to old lady status, there is something deep inside of my heart that still has so much passion for her music. she commands the stage, her fearlessness is only equal to her beauty-and her sadness.

evertime i see La-Love im so inspired. she NEVER gets old to me, and i gladly say i will follow her to the end of the earth.

she truly is the last rockstar left. i feel so blessed that i could be there.
